I remember when those came out, and was pretty excited, but ended up being disappointed in Gibson (again...). It's SO close to being a junior style EB-0, but they had to go and screw with the body shape. Still pretty cool.

Well managed to get our band submitted to be considered as a local opener for Torche before they actually chose the bands. Told them we were the obvious choice because I play an EGC... lol. Fingers crossed.

S' slow in here. What's the best passive 4 string bass "soapbar" pickup for heavy music? xD

Looking at Seymour Duncan's NYC bass humbuckers.

Any other suggestions/recommendations? I know most here tend to use P pickups and such, but I don't own nary a bass with such a route!
