Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

@Ron Now
Miserable is a solid album.
It's been interesting listening to it through different speakers. My work vehicle over Bluetooth is just about pitiful. Really no definition to your bass. Whereas my car via Line-In with a subwoofer is fantastic. Can't really decide if it's the crappy speakers or Bluetooth killing the clarity. My money is on Bluetooth.
As a side note have you listened to it from various sources? Got mine from Amazon Music (go ahead and laugh vinyl snobs:spit: the convenience is king) there is skipping on Into Ruin at about the 18:50 mark. Like a CD skipping noise. I've downloaded it several times to check for transfer errors but it's the same.
I wonder if it's present from other sources?

Thanks! I haven't heard of skipping from elsewhere, but it's definitely not supposed to be doing that.

I'll talk to our guitar player who uploaded everything and see if he knows what's up.

So this might be trendy and retro....

But she can sing and there are some trippy parts. So it works for me.

You don't have to defend your music around here. poopie, I still listen to Ghost (BC).

...and Laz still listens to Clutch. ;)

I don't ever want this to become an elite club. Like what you like, play what you play, wear what you wear. Just plug in and riff.

So true, I'm spinning Derek & The Dominoes this a.m.
