Saw the new Sin City installment yesteray. Pretty decent, though I think the first one's a bit better. That said, I'd see the new one again. Among the summer movies I've seen this year, I'd probably put Guardians of the Galaxy at the top of the list.
In other news, I found out Royal Blood will be in Iowa City on my birthday. Tix acquired. Gonna be a good one.

It's not my first choice but I'll take a free BL if that's all that's available. Case in point: I went through my High Lifes at band practice last night and mooched a couple freebie BLs to see me through.
I was a Kools and Coors guy years ago.
Now I don't smoke or drink any light beers.
The beer I do drink now is "better" but goddamn do they make me pay for it.
Had to change beers when the hangovers got too bad. Before I knew any better getting drunk was cheap.

Yeah, if I smoke Kools I go for the Milds. Still my favorite menthol.

not sure if you guys are into kubrick, but you might want to check out the shining documentary called room 237, not sure how enlightening it is, however it definitely gives you some stuff to ponder

i think these guys are pretty rad, i definitely want to catch them if i take a trip to the US. one imagines they don't do a lot of overseas touring with a backline like that.
They've been touring nonstop for like 13 years. Live in a winnebago. The go to Europe multiple times a year I think. When they do go over seas I think they rent/borrow a smaller but still a Wall of jucifer.
