I love my Joyo Ultimate Drive. It's become my main OD, though I'll gladly replace it when Nick finished the Dunwich ODB redesign. I had bought one as a means to find out if I'd like an OCD, loved it so I bought the Fulltone. Then I passed my UD onto JoeVictim, but I missed it and found I actually liked it better on bass than the OCD, so I bought another one. I still have the Fulltone OCD though, because I love it on guitar. I don't care for the Joyo on guitar that much, it's too dark, but it's perfect for bass.
knobs were basically stuck, toggle was basically stuck, and the tone lacked bite and sounded like an 80s yamaha synthesizer with a dead battery
i know i was just unlucky, but i couldn't believe they let that one out into the public
Sorry brother was only teasing. I forget I grew up in a pretty thick skinned area sometimes and the rest of the world doesn't tease each other for male bonding I guess like life back in NEPA.

Every year at our school we have this big day called Zonker Harris where people just do lots of um...fun things...*cough*psychedelics*cough*...and the grilled cheese truck always shows up and serves the Zonker Special, which is Banana, Bacon, and Nutella. SO GOOD.

I'm still diggin my Joyo UD, mostly on bass but sounds great for fattening up a muff on guitar also. For $30+/-, I'd say well worth the risk. I ordered a similar chinese clone pedal (my Donner muff clone) and it was missing the main sustain knob. Emailed the seller on ebay, they mailed a replacement knob right out. You can find US sellers of Joyo stuff and they'll take care of you if you have problems.
This chinese seller is pretty good also, they even run sales and have coupons all time time: Invalid Link Removed . Coupon code *** gets $10 off on a Joyo pedal, works on some other stuff too.
You should know, I am so freaking thankful for that too. My gear funds are going to be nonexistent for a long time. The Joyo interacts with a Pbass so well. I love it. You are the freaking man! If I ever get to a point where I don't need it, I will let you know and do as you wish with it. Thanks again!

Now that my son is here and my wife isn't working, I feel you on the gear funds being slim though lol. Especially after all the dental work I had to pay for out of mine recently. I'm glad I sold stuff off, saved up and made my big purchases before my wife got pregnant. I've got the Dunwich amp and a new bass paid for, stocked up on pedals and cabs. I still would like another guitar to keep in standard tuning. Maybe if I get some more recording and/or mixing work in the near future. I'm trying to keep a bit of cash socked away, just in case anything comes up that eats through our savings.
Too far behind to spend time catching up. My trip to Washington was awesome. Legal weed is killer. Represented @LOCOPELAND by rocking my Infinite Flux T shirt when I made my purchase at the recreational store haha.

Which one? I had the very first J Mascis Fender Signature, the purple and gold MIJ one. I hated the pickups though, they weren't actual Jazzmaster pickups at all. I had a buddy who loved it though and I let him borrow it to record most of an album. I hear good things about the new Squier ones though, a buddy of mine has one of them.
It's the newer one bought it new a year or 2 ago. White with gold pickguard.
Yeah the pickups are hotter more P90-ish and it has the Gibson style bridge deal... tune-o-matic

I think that's true of all the Japanese jazzmasters. My friend got custom pickups made for his.
