Link Removed. More than once I have been asked, "What is your dad?" to which I always reply "Human".

I think that's true of all the Japanese jazzmasters. My friend got custom pickups made for his.
So, do you use the country blues setting or the slap setting?
hahaha
I cut bass and treble on the crunch channel, dime the gain. Run the clean channel flat, or maybe a boost in the low mids, then balance the two channels out.
You should send that to Peavey as the "GLORIOUS BASS THUNDER" setting. Or something similar.
I really like the preamp on the CL400. Wish they made a pre with this lay out.
I really hope to be able to at least check out a CL400 at some point, if not own one. I dig the all-tube dual channel + blend setup.
It would make sense, given their history of rackmount separate preamps and power amps. Seems like they're moving away from that stuff lately though, which is a shame.
Pish. It's no "Owner of a Lonely Heart", now is it?Absolutely the best Yes album.
Last night I played around with the Boss ODB-3 I bought off Nick for a few minutes, on guitar. Sounded pretty cool, I was able to get a pretty thick and dark tone, which I like. Haven't tried it on bass at all yet. I want to try it out with my Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone. Been thinking about going full King Buzzo and just picking up a MXR Dyna Comp to try out with it as well.

Should have kept your Beta head for the full Buzzo Trifecta.
That Joyo Dyna Comp has been tempting me.
