Maybe I'm getting wrapped up in hype, but are those garment leather padded straps really all that? My cotton web 4" wide strap doesn't cut it on the heavier p bass.
Good question. One of these days I'll get a nice strap myself. I usually just use the cheapies. Franklin had this really cool saddle blanket strap I wanted to buy. But I found them too late, I think they discontinued them.
I like to use a touch of comprehensor in some of the slower parts of songs so I have more substain.Who you callin a comprehensor?!
Wouldn't make more sense just to get the speakers and make it yourself? Or get the cab part made locally?

I had one of these little tape measures come back on me the other day. I was measuring my bass case. Let go a little early. Whap! Decent little sting. Loaded up my bass in the car. Come back inside. Nice little trickle of blood. Are you kidding me? ***? The tape hit me on the thumb right where the fingernail and skin meet. How convenient. haha

So I picked up that Sunn beta bass head. $150 and a half a tank of gas.
Turns out the kid got it for free from his high school band dept. It had been sitting in a closet for a decade. They just gave it to him. He didn't know how to fix the scratchy pots and prefers combo amps. Wanted to get enough money out of it for some new pickups.

Yes!!!!! Now go spend $5 and get some deoxit. And good luck it's kinda tight quarters for those pots for a surprisingly oversized amp.
When I got home it turns out we had our 3yr old nephew to baby sit. Surprise. Work tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get to see what she's really made of this weekend. But the little bit I heard when I picked it up has me really excited.
I always keep a can in the shop.
I kinda assumed it'd be pretty spacious in there like the 220. Oh well. Suppose that's what the straw is for.

Yeah it's just a name brand of contact cleaner. Most electronic stores sell it. Read the labels though. There are some that are cleaners AND lubricants. Things can get messy quickly if you're being heavy handed with the wrong one.
Life changing riffs. On of the Best shows I've ever been to. Backline was all those Ampegs, a Matamp, and a lot of Dictator cabs/Heads. Sounded incredible. Chicago wasn't terrible. More tomorrow now it's time for some sleep.
