Well, I'm kinda reluctant to share it here, but our guitard put it on youtube, so I might as well.
It was recorded with a phone camera standing on the guitar amp, so I'm pretty amazed that it's sounding as good as it is.
We're still sloopy as shag, it was my third attempt at singing that night, so it will probably (and hopefully) still change a lot, but well, here it is:

Currently sick, had to miss Iron Lung and Sleep last night. Pretty lame, especially since I can't even lay in bed all day resting since I'm the only person in my department since the other 1/2 of said department quit last week.
I feel ya Ron. I got a blazing migraine and I have to hold down the IT help desk phone because everyone took off for the long weekend. And I'm not even IT, I am GIS LOL. Have you tried turning it on and off yet will be my catch phrase today or GIMF.

I missed Sleep too, sat on my hands too long and it was sold out by the time I thought about buying tickets. Oh well.
Most of the office is out today, so I'm holding down the fort as well. But only until noon, then I'm taking the afternoon off. Wish it was to do something fun, I need to buy a parking permit for school and work on cleaning the old apartment. Fun stuff.
It seems many are OOO early this week. I had an AT&T tech call about a new circuit to deliver at the building Thursday. He just had to turn it up and leave... No one was in town, including me, to let him into the comm room. Had to tell him sorry dude your going to have to come back on Tuesday next week. Guess I'm driving into the office next week.
Today is hopefully the final mediation meeting and then divorce papers are filed.
Band has been hit and miss with rehearsal. Still targeting end of September for recording session.
Also have the Outback motor torn down case split and waiting for the machine shop to get back to work next week. Going to monkey a little bit with valve lash on the heads and see how many buckets I may need to pickup.
Nice part about the motor is cylinders, cam journals, main crank surfaces will likely just need a polish or hone... Once the measurements are confirmed I should be able to pickup the new pistons and bearings and put it back together mid September.

No way in hell I'd attempt something like that. As far as I'm concerned: you pour gas in the car and invisible horses come out of the tailpipe to push it forward.
No doubt, the damn alternator in my tracker was a sum bich to swap and that was only three bolts and one electrical connector. I think one of my rescue dogs wants me to stop being lazy and finish working on my Ninja in the(his) backyard. He knocked it over Wednesday. He didn't get hurt by it at least. Thank you Quoia for the cracked front fender LOL.

Years ago I had my KZ topple over on the right side and blew the case apart. This was just after putting it back together after a freak accident on the freeway. It took another couple years to figure out what to do. Had my welding guru help me piece it back together and today you can't tell it happened.
I'm now understanding it's a rare bird that get's after things the way I do. For me it's the satisfaction of knowing it's right and no short cuts were made in the process. I can't knock others for not doing things this way. It's a to each his own deal. I could probably deck the heads myself but I just can't afford to tool up for the task. Same goes for throwing a CC at someone to do all this work. I'm going to save about 5K just in labor.

I think I am just in denial. I had bikes my whole life but after I sold my Harley Sportster and my Suzi DR650 I felt I needed to have something. So a guy in the Army wrenched his arm and sold me his Ninja 500 for $400 with gunked up carbs. That was two or three summers back LOL. I got it running, but then tore it down to clean the carbs good and bought a few new parts(of course). Got stuck on the throttle cable, then the winter came on, then daily migraines, then I got wrapped up in bass and guitar gear, and doing things on the house, and that's as far as I got. I have been paying insurance and keeping plates on it for no reason LOL. Just need to hook the throttle back up, sync the carbs, and button it back up and I still haven't done that, shame on me.
