We'll shag guys I don't even know where to begin with my Chicago adventure, I guess I'll start by mentioning that old style in a can is about 3 dollars for a 6 pack everywhere so needless to say I was hammer for 24 straight hours, woke up Thursday and told myself " I bet if I go to Chicago bass exchange right now, I bet sleep would be there" low and behold they were all three there gearing up hard introduced myself to Matt and talked to him about his new 1970 les Paul recording series he just laid 3,000 down on as I walking In he was in a super good mood, I introduce myself to Al and he was surprisingly talkative, he told well he was inside he just bought a 2014 4004 (which he used live that night for a few songs) and I also asked him about his 4003w and he said hands Down it's the best bass he's ever played. Shortly after getting a few photos I went and Dick around In the bass room Down stairs and started playing all the bass I've pretty much been interested and came to the decision that 1979 gibson rd artist has got to be me new bass, I have played something so smooth ever, I've never been a fan of active pick ups till now. Several beers and a " Earthride burger" later we headed to the venue and was utterly shocked and disappointed on how shaging stupid Scott Kelly's new project corrections house is, it's like slamming dubstep sludge with a baritone sax!? Mike from eyehategod sounded like poopie too. But as for sleep they were louder and more tone worthy then I think they've ever been, 3 100 watt dictators next one matamp for Matt, and 4 svt's for AL, Jason shaging without a doubt played one of best drum proformances ive ever seen. and the clarity is so much better live, and they played the Druid which is a rare thing!
