Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Fvck I totally missed out on the Bongripper LP. I didn't even know it was for sale yet.

That was the 1st pressing we did on a preorder a few months ago.

We have a 2nd pressing on the way, it'll be available once we've shipped the 1st pressing all out.

I'll be sure to let you dudes all know when that'll happen. Hopefully sometime in September.

****, last few boxes of **** moved to the new place. Tomorrow I'll spend all day cleaning that ****ing apartment, then I'm ****ing done. I'm so goddamn sick of ****ing dealing with this ****, there's not enough ****ing swear words in the English language to properly ****ing express it.

****.

It took me that long to move and you were like nah bro In out over a weekend it's all good.

Welcome to apartment to house moving!

It's good to see Matt looking healthy again. Envy you guys having the opportunity to see Sleep play.
Strange to care so much about your reviews of a strap but I've hit a road block buying a couple more. I need one though that has a little more taper on it to wrap under the Kramer Lumi. Since someone hacked the horn up (before I picked it up) It can't go back on the end and right now is on the bottom with a shortened screw. I'm hesitant to blow another hole and have the strap lock rear facing. Need a wide strap to battle neck dive and over all weight. But after picking up the ATK I'm not looking as hard for such things.
I'm happy with this strap.

I like Zep. But yeah... It's blues. All those dudes have been ripping each other off since it started. I'm not defending them or anything.
My favorite is the Stairway rip.

edit: I guess it was more than I thought too. Jeez. The Beatles covered a ton of stuff. But they gave credit, I think.

Not condoning, but it was a different time back then.
The Beatles covered hot pop songs. Led zeppelin was covering old or dead black mens music that few people knew.

Jack White does similar, but he gives credit, it's under writer of said songs. But even then it's kinda funny.

I think of it kinda like reggae riddims, these blues songs have been covered, rearranged, transformed for decades.

While their is an original track out there, it's become a blues staple to be trampled on and reworded forever.

And I really like the Beatles and led zeppelin (not everything).
