I've had the chance to see SubRosa a couple times in the last couple months and they are absolutely fantastic live - One of the best I've seen. Funny, though is I've never heard any of their albums; kinda afraid that I won't like it. Neurosis, Yob, and SubRosa would be heavenly.
Thanks dude! That means a lot to me, especially from you. I put my all into these songs and I'm glad they finally get some good production. That's why we ponied up cash to record. My buddy tried to record us live, but there was no way he was going to make what he was doing, work. The guy we went with was a friend of the drummer, and we basically got half price. He was a real pro and I've never felt more confident about our sound as I have with him.

It's more expensive now too. I got a new supporting membership right before the new stuff kicked int.
You mean 3015?
Because the 3015LF is a subwoofer, basically. It's not something you use without another driver to cover the mids and highs.
Eh, I love metal, and I'm almost never in a Pantera or Children of Bodom mood.
Their last one especially is somewhat close to their live sound. Not quite as raw, but still great. The difference is that in "The Usher," a guest vocalist does the backing vocals at the beginning instead of Kim doing them. I like the song live actually a bit better for this reason. "Ghosts of a Dead Empire" is basically the same studio as it is live, though. Just not quite as heavy, cause, you know, home stereos aren't as loud as that.
When I have steady income, I'll probably get a supporting membership.
Sam suggested this to me. It's pretty different but I really like it.
I used an LF in a standalone 1x15 for a while. It actually sounded really good, rarely felt a need for more high end, even with fuzz. But I like a pretty dark sound, so YMMV.
Same. I had two LFs in my Yamaha for a few weeks. I thought the cab was going to explode. 1000 watts bridged never felt so good. Even my current rig does not compare to the 3015LF loaded in to the 215B design.
If those speakers hadn't gone up to double what I paid, I'd probably still have them. I sold them used, want I paid new. Then I bought the Carvin and the rest is history.
So it's possible he does mean the 3015LF.
I'll say, F it and give it a try. Fair warning, my Peavey 2-15 sucked with those speakers. My guess, not enough volume. Those speakers like big ole boxes. My BFM omni was bigger than a 4-10". It was massive. I'm not sure the traynor will take.
This is what I do everyday as a finals mechanic. I'm the last person to work on the truck before it goes to the customer. It seems theres a lot of...oh the finals guys will fix it, and a whole lot more how did you FVCK up this bad and how has it gotten to me like this.

Returned the ADA and Freeze back for store credit...got a DOD250, a MXR Blue Box, and a Voodoo hooDOOM power suppy. Max is finally getting fancy with pedals.
The DOD250, is a reissue but it has the grey box mod and an led added. Got it for some good ol OM worship and a light OD that I've been lacking on my effects rig.
Blue Box I got to try out the sub octave thing, I'm hoping it'll be monstrous cause the 18s in my 218+210 go down to 20hz.

Ah, see, I don't like a dark sound. I don't like tweeters, either, but I do want a cab to at least go up to 4000hz.
I've heard the Faital 15PR400s have a JBL-ish sound. Don't know if that's true. They also might not save you any money over going with K-140s.
EV 15B/SRO drivers fit in a 2000S, but they might not fit in a 200S due to the clearance of the port/horn panels.
