I guess it just depends what kind of genre you think you would enjoy the most.
I still have trouble. I like sci fi and horror. There are tons of awesome books out there. Which I want to read or have sitting in a box waiting to be read. It's so much easier to watch a movie.

I also picked up a Terry Pratchett book. First in the Discworld series. I'm looking forward to that. It's supposed to be comedy fantasy. I think there are like 40 books or something.
I read the first book in The Icewind Dale Trilogy. Main character is a bad a$$ dark elf.

Which one is the first? I've wondered that for a while now.

Edward Abbey the father of environmental terrorism, his books are always a pisser and a fun read. R. A. Salvatore for my dorky fantasy fix.

Morning fellows.
Daughter goes to preschool orientation today. Maybe I should feel something but it's kind of blah... Probably first day at preschool will give me the stereotypical "parenting jitters." At least it's not like high school or something then I could feel old legitimately.

Man all you guys start school late. August 25th was the first day back for Texas.

This is the first nice bass I've ever had. I'm just going to play the hell out of it like it was my first bass.

You definitely want some speakers that go that low, if they don't the effect may not be as much.

How low does a dually/bassic go? Anyone got that info?

Reading "All quiet on the western front" currently. I read half one night then forgot to pick it back up for the last week.

That's my top three, southern gothic tales are my fictional preference, but I'll read just about anything that draws me in. I also read non fiction, like military stuff, also just got an awesome book on the history of Spices to read after alls quiet. I read a ton of Wikipedia and other information based stuff, also food books, I could read Wikipedia to the end of time.

I forgot history wise anything Egypt since I was a kid is awesome.
The Universe and Egypt my two first loves as a young adult. Too bad anything space related is generally way over my head.
Besides Sharks, Fighter Jets and muscle cars. When I was 6 or 7.

I just finished my first fiction book in 9 years haha. "Doomed" by Chuck Palahniuk, the guy who wrote Fight Club. About half way through I unfortunately realized it was the second book in a trilogy, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of nihilistic end of times pessimistic humor. Lucky the first book in the trilogy "Damned" was already bought for me by my wife a year ago or so. Forgot how much I like reading fiction, really need to start reading more.

In terms of fantasy stuff, I was huge into that as a kid and still enjoy it. Salvatore was always one of my favorites, as well as Hickman and Weiss from the Dragonlance series, and you can never go wrong with The Hobbit or LOTR.

I don't use it but goodreads.com is apparently a good place to figure out what book you want to read.

I've been reading a lot of history books about the Inca and Maya and central/south America in general. I find it really goddamn fascinating - but it's hard to recommend to other people because the books are generally really, really dry.

I love military history and the tactics and panoply of those participating. Ancient warfare as well as war during the modern cartridge based firearms are two very interesting points.

I read some Rollins before, was all set in the amazon and old meso american temples.

One thing I'll always remember from one book, is he's describing a female demon rushing towards the main character club lifted to strike, and her pancake boobies flailing like manic pendulums.

My vote is the Wendy's triple baconator with pretzel bun upgrade. I asked the ol' lady to bring me home something quick the other night and she hooked me up. I usually stick to the dollar menu LOL.

The regular Baconator is already overkill for me. I had one once. I uttered words I never thought I'd say. "There is too much bacon on this thing." I guess it was just too much salt overall.

The triple was insane hard to take bites out of it, but the right amount of bacon for me LOL, I think it would seem like overkill on a single though. I was shocked how good it tasted for fast food though like Ruby Tuesday's, Chili's etc, not that they are outstanding, but it was in their ballpark. I FN love hamburgs though. All it needed was some BBQ sauce and onion crisps!!!
