Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

sold another pedal :) was going to buy a pumpkin magic microphone from hallmark cards, but the vocal processor didn't really convince me that it sounded like a zombie, werewolf, goblin, ghost, and a witch, but what do you expect for $12.99 (the wmd geiger counter was way better to sing through, but that was 20 x more expensive)
it was so hot and nasty yesterday at the art studio that i could feel the neck on my 84 squier jazz bowing while i was going over the covers for the upcoming halloween show
if the weather doesn't improve it looks like i'm going to be only playing the usa g&l sb-2, because that thing is the most stable bass ever

Never tried one, but that's a cheap price. Some people try to sell Squiers on my CL for that price.
Yeah I think the 5ers sell for $300 to $350 on TB so I wouldn't get stuck with it. Think that model has Canadian built parts assembled in the USA. I don't have a bass with a bridge pickup on it right now and think that may have lead to me not digging the Joyo UD and why I sold it and the Bluebeard I had. Plus it might be nice to have a 5er for shitz and giggles at that price. Or maybe I am just freaking out because I sold all my extra gear off and don't have any stuff listed for sale. That Godin and a Hohner B Bass IV in natural finish that I think I can land that for less than $150 are both haunting me. I had a B Bass V that was pretty darn sweet.

Naw, just at work. Contemplating how I'm going to fix the motor on my bicycle so I can get home. Today was the first try, got halfway here and it quit so I pedaled the other half. Bah, mechanical things. Humbug.

Also don't have my headphones with me, so I haven't discovered any cool muzakk to post on here.

Best show yet. Jex Thoth was spectacular per usual. ATW was down right amazing and Windhand left my soul in pieces.

Glad I was able to say Hi Max, you killed it! Looked like Dorthia was having epic monitor issues throughout the night, and I was REALLY surprised they didn't put any reverb/delay on her voice. I mean, that's her signature haunting "Huge" sound. Regardless, was absolutely amazing. Their guitarists were using Stomp Under Foot Green Russian clones. I felt bad for the ATW bassists Ric. Thing was MOLESTED!
