Found these at an antique shop yesterday.

Duane eddy had a 1985 skin mag called risqué tucked into that I assumed came with the record and didn't alert the sales guy to the issue. Black n white photography with more bush than you could shake your stick at.

Every time I go antique store shopping, I always notice the early 20's male demographic is limited to just me.

Just had one. It was offered smothered in mayonnaise or cold and unappetizing.
I had the opportunity at both.
I recommend the pasta instead.

Sour cream or Greek yogurt have better tang factor I put it on my burgers and beef.

And its adjustable, smaller, produces a flatterer EQ response, unless you need a balanced input/output the thumpinator is a waste of money.

Had a great night last night. Had lots of fun playing twice. First show for Galactic Hatchet was a cosmic success, seemed like people really digged it which really motivates me to learn to sing and play to really take it where I want it to go. It's gonna be a little while before the next show, we want to write a few more songs and I'd like to add vox, maybe even have an EP or the split done before then.

VEGAs set was great. We decided last second to bring all the stacks, I'm glad we did. We're on a roll and can't wait for the release show next weekend.

Ooooh...best part, I met, talked to, and toked with Mike from Bongzilla. BONGMOTHAFVCKINZILLA!!! He came to see VEGA and he said he dug us! That dude has really really really good weed. Cool guy too. Had a total geeky fan boy moment and he said he did the same thing when he first toked with Sleep. Then he told stories about touring with over a pound of green and getting the Electric wizard drummer so high he could barely play a show. The gear talk was boneriffic.

I've never found anything but clean tones to sound good at quiet levels. Dirt always sounds like glitchy guitar to me at those levels.

Yeah, that's kinda how it is for me, too. The same OD that sounds glorious at high volumes sounds kinda thin and shrill when it's quiet. I guess it's just not loud enough to be able to feel the lows/upper bass/low mids in the same way as you do when it's loud.

Ampeg made a single 18, i think, it the early 2000's. All i could find on ampeg 18's were custom cabs for the guys from alice in chains and stained.

I guess it didn't sell.

18"s have a reputation for being muddy, but the dude in Budgie used to use them and had some gnarly, clanky bass tone.

Yeah... I think his experience would be different if that weren't the case. As an understatement.

I used to have a stack of 70s nudie mags I kept in the empty space of my old SS head.

So much glorious bush.

I miss those magazines.

My first couple "real" bass rigs had 18's

I had two peavey 1810's (one didn't have the tens). Just realized I had a poor mans 3620

And a carvin redline 118 with a 410 top

Haven't owned a 18 since

Wouldn't mind having a 2x18. Depending on which one it was.

Another poster on Talkbass has a couple 1x30 cabs. They don't take much power, though, as I recall. They get a surprising amount of high end.

You need to turn a metal peavey nameplate into a belt buckle. Though you might accidentally commit seppuku when you bend over. So watch out for that.
