Well, mainly I dig the body shape, and I like that unlike Hofners, it's solid-body (to the best of my knowledge).

Really I want a bass with that body, but 32" or 33.25" scale, with two pickups (hot bridge pickup, lower output neck pickup).

The rig he seems to use most often is two 2x15 cabs powered by two 70s solid state Sunn amps (I can't remember which models).

Solid State? Must be cause it's spring that the pansies are blooming' around here! Analog tube overdrive or die! And yes the Eb1 is solid with a mudbucker that can't be denied and will slay all those in it's path with face melting bass. Phew! Time for me to jam!
