Your settings don't look too far off what mine would likely be. How'd it sound? You said "used" the Pharaoh, so I'm assuming it's gone. Any reason why? And any suggestions for settings on the Pharaoh? Again, I'm going for a Sword/Grand Magus sound, so crazy fuzzed out madness isn't what I'm looking for. Just big, bassy fuzz that sits well in/under the mix, but can still cut a bit when I dig in.
It's been a while for me to really recommend anything. I ended up selling it to my guitar player when I needed some money. He also let me use his NYC 80s muff. So, I still had something to work with. I needed the money more than the pedal and I could probably buy it back from him whenever I wanted. I think it sounds better in guitar. But I remember my setting hitting the area you are aiming for. I will say that my behringer sansamp clone is one of the biggest factors in my tone. It adds a nice layer of compression and the eq tightens everything up. None of my pedals really sound that great without the behringer. But to be fair, I had it first and dialed everything with it in my chain.
So would that be with the "lo" selected? And germanium diodes engaged? I've thought of using the harsher diodes and reeling back on the fuzz quite a bit to compensate, but won't get a chance to mess with it until tomorrow night.
That's kinda the role I have my Volt Thrower playing. It's EQ'd dark n dirty, then I run a Billy Sheehan OD after to get that mid bite. I like that the Sheehan has separate volumes for OD'd and non-OD'd tone, so I'm getting VT + OD'd VT coming through. The S&S BB comes last and I tend to stomp it on for choruses. I was using a Wizard in that spot but it was bumped by the BB for size purposes. Been happy with this set up for the past half dozen gigs or so.
I really like my "clean" tone from my amp, but I've thought of getting that Behringer in the past. My amps have DIs built in, and my home rig is a GK MB200 with headphone out that will also double as DI box/emergency backup if necessary. It's my Swiss army knife. DI/Practice/Headphone rig all in one, and keeps my beloved GK sound intact. LOVE IT! Thought of the separate DI route, but this is so much better.
Right now my home practice rig is my full rig... in my 2nd floor apartment. It actually takes a fair amount of knob tweaking to get it to an acceptable volume.
Also, I am the youngest member of my band at age 26. The others are 43, 37 and 29. I must be a little "get off my lawn" at hear because I pretty much agree with most of the sentiments expressed. Honestly the work ethic of my band frustrates me.

Last time I put out CL ads (looking for a drummer for a bass-drums duo), I made it very clear what a lame 38-yo cubicle-dwelling married dad I was and the inherent limitations on my musical ambitions. I didn't put any age requirements on respondents but I made it clear what they were getting into. I wonder closely the 20-yo who responded read it. We set a time to meet up at a local fully-furnished rehearsal studio. Yeah, he could play the drums OK enough. But he was more interested in plugging in his 6-string and pedals and showing me his experimental progressive post-black metal licks. Which was totally cool, not really my main area of interest, but whatever. So after wrapping up, I asked him directly "I'm looking to get a DUO together. Bass and drums. I need a drummer. You have the skills. Do you want to do this?" "Yeah, sure, let's do it" he says. Okay, so we set a time to meet again a week later, this time in my garage. I'm sure you know the rest of the story… no show, no text, no call. Pretty much par for the CL course. I totally understand that someone would decide against jamming with a graying guy technically old enough to be his dad, on an instrument not of his first preference, in a genre not of his first preference, and I can understand how someone can fail to have the balls to say "no" face-to-face and thus choose to flake out later. I take no offense, really. But dude, didn't you read the ad?
But remember being a 18 yo college freshman, bass in hand, answering a posted ad and meeting up with a seemingly ancient member of the over-30 crowd. Nice enough guy. He was inexplicably married to a totally HOTTT girl about my age in my chemistry class. The needle tracks in his arm kind of weirded me out. But I was a nerdly virgin engineering freshman and weirded out easily. The jams were alright if I recall. But we didn't have a place to get loud, didn't have a drummer… it didn't go anywhere. Did I flake out on him?? Gee I guess I did. Karma goes around I guess!
Yeah, I thought at first you would say something along the lines of "Forget the neighbors, when I practice the entire block hears it!"
I had one of them, now I got the mb500, it's been good to me too. Not Looking forward to seeing it go once the new rigs setup, but that's too many amps.
I like the mb500 set with flat pregain, treble, boosted hi mids, dimed low mids and boosted lows with post volume adjusted to how late in the day it is... The joyo ultimate overdrive is really good in front of it. Fabtone and Bluebeard also sound excellent through the GK. I prefer the cheaper fabtone to the BB so far, if only because it's only been my main dirt forever for both guitar and bass and never disappoints except at low volume.
Yea, while it wouldn't weird me out, I'd have serious reservations dealing with someone like that. Undoubtedly it would only lead to drama or trouble from him/law if he was the considerate junkie who would not tell you he's carrying while say driving to/from a gig.
Yeah, I cut treble a bit, boost hi mids slightly, low mids more, and bass flat. Might boost it up to 2-3 o'clock tomorrow though, just to see. These are basically my settings on all my GKs, with the other options (presence, boost, woofer, etc.) to taste to keep my tone pretty consistent no matter the amp. EQ, of course, is the biggest factor in my amp tone, so it's not a big difference.
Being 22 and my the other guys in VEGA being both 40, I get a lot of "GET OFF MY LAWN YOUNGIN!!!", but I get to call them old...
Got the do you think we should practice texts, we have a new guitarist that we haven't done a full member practice with, new songs we haven't gotten down, and two shows in october, maybe huh, whadda ya think?

Side note. I checked out your art page. I love your jet drawings. I worked on F/A-18's in the Navy. Well I got kicked out before I could work on them in the shop, but I was a Plane Captain. Good times.
