Yeah, it could be the solder, could be any number of things really.

As an example there are products that contain items that must be labeled similarly, but actually pose less risk than breathing the air in LA.

Yeah, it could be the solder, could be any number of things really.

As an example there are products that contain items that must be labeled similarly, but actually pose less risk than breathing the air in LA.

My favorite version of that is how every business here in California that has a refrigerator or freezer has to have that sign, because of freon. If you're from another state and not used to it, you'd be freaked out how every place you go to get a bite to eat is warning you of toxic and cancer causing chemicals.

Thanks Ron, that's the only real use I've had for the clean blend. That pedal sounds fine on its own without any cleans. I mean, you can put the gain all the way down and tone all the way up and barely dial in the dirt to get a kind of overdrive sound, but I already have at least 4 or 5 overdrive pedals anyway. I use my Boss LS-2 for stuff like that all the time, or did in recent years, just mixing different pedals in parallel or into each other to see how it sounded.

I almost bought an 8x10 from my old neighbor for $100 bucks. He told me that tolex was pretty much completely gone, but the speakers were good. I didn't care about the tolex, so I went over to check it out. Two speakers with ****** repairs like yours, another 3 failed the battery test. I told him thanks but no thanks. What I hoped was a cheap cab was about to get really damn expensive.

Well by the fact that he thought it was a 69 fridge that was a surprise. But for the fact that evm 215 cost me $100 I figure it's a fair trade especially for the fact I can use it again if need be.

It is truly ridiculous. I work in regulatory, and I am all for regulations protecting consumers. My stance is even considered radically conservative by most of my colleagues. Even I think Prop 65 is overstepping its bounds.

Welcome to California, where people wants there to be signs on everything telling you about some academic fact that will never in reality be a danger to you, but nobody seems to care about the severe drought or any of the other immediate threats to our health and safety. We put a sign up on this cupcake shop that something in it might give you cancer though (if you smash open the back of the fridge and huff the fumes or start eating the insulation), so everyone can sleep soundly tonight.

Yeah I handle a lot of consumer questions.

Here's a question, how do go about checking a crossover to make sure it's working right. The 10s in my 210+218 are crackling but it doesn't really sound like a speaker problem.

Do a frequency sweep, and if that doesnt reveal anything, take the cross over out and check for continuity.
