Reminds me of a cartoon session with my daughter. She was talking. Still in diapers... We were on the couch. I notice her digging into her diaper... I finally ask her if she's ok.
Her reply... Pulling her hand out. "smell my thumb". NOOOOOOOO... Lets go get you changed. and wash your hands. Cochina.
Everyone on the negative side of that thread lived in a state that lost the civil war... And weirdly two guys from Connecticut.
Silver lining- At least no one was from Texas saying that stuff!

I got a broken PS3 for free, it needed a hard drive so I got a massive one (sounds dirty).
Then I got playstation plus which let's you download and keep games on your hard drive.
Then I bought hard copies of fallout New Vegas ultimate addition, skyrim ultimate addition, and red dead with undead edition.
Few other things too, but between those games you have like the best gaming experience of the last like 5 years or more?
Also ps3 is linked via wifi to my PC music, and has HBO go, netflix, hulu and amazon prime streaming apps. I have a group of friends and we each pay for one service and share each others.

I can't remember how my girlfriend spells it either LOL. Florida, the Spacecoast for a few days to see my old stomping grounds, then to a week at a fishing cabin in Ocala, to bum around the springs and the National Forest. Probably zip over to some spots on the West Coast to see how it is on that side of Florida.

The issue with acoustic basses I've run into when getting gas for one is that the cheap ones are not good (intonation, loudness, action) and I'm not interested enough to throw money on one.
Occasionally they pop up around here for $50-$150 and I get tempted. I like a high action so that helps, but I don't want a bass I still need to plug in to hear as that defeats the purpose. Also I'm pretty sure you'd be only able to achieve drop D maybe and lower tension is even less volume.

The Empress Multidrive. It's not bass specific, but it has fuzz, distortion and overdrive in parallel and a limited high/low cut function that you could use like a crude crossover. So you could potentially mix fuzz and ovedrive or distortion in parallel and use the third channel as a clean blend with the highs rolled off. I looked into getting one for a while, but I didn't want to pay the full price and used ones for decent deals kept slipping through my fingers.
I had a few but playing with two or more acoustic guitars you just get drowned out and need to plug in anyway so better off just plugging in a comfy bass. I like using a classical guitar for unplugged bass practicing/noodling. It has wider sting spacing than a regular acoustic guitar so you can use fingerstyle pretty easily on them.
The weirdest thing about that same sex wedding gig thread, I don't know if anyone brought this up, is that the crux of the excuse for having an issue seems to be religious conflict. Concerns about supporting something that their religion is against or condemns. Do these guys who play in wedding bands vet every client for everything that conflicts with their religion? Do they ask what religion or denomination the people getting married are and object on that basis? I'm guessing most wedding receptions aren't held in a church with religious services going on, it's a party. Do they refuse to play parties that serve hard liquor? Do they never book gigs on Sundays? Do they refuse to play songs that have lyrics that portray premarital sex, divorce, not going to church on Sunday or some other such thing? My guess is no to all those things, because it's not about observing/defending/upholding their religious beliefs at all, but just about weird sexual confusion/fear, ignorance and bigotry.
