Oh I had planned on selling that, but not sure now. I guess I could remove it lol.
Well, it ain't pretty, but the buffered blend pedal is up and running. It pops when i turn it in, but I can fix that. Sounds good, works as it should. I put the rat, od glove and bazz in the loop and put it to about 60-65% dirty. All three benefited from having the clean blend, looking forward to messing around with it some more.
Your building me that 3 din extension right? Lemme know when I need to pay you.

Lol, forgot this was a 45 and started it out at 33, thought "damn, this is sludgy even for Sleep..."

So the peavey standard is a non master volume/master reverb. But I also saw a master version in the area.
They both intrigue me not sure which is the ticket. Master would be nice for practice I bet.

I told you that when you were at my house years ago. I love the sound of active G&L's but they are waaaay too hot to make nice with most dirt pedals. They get slammed too hard.I guess I have a thing for single pup passive basses. The active preamp in my L2000 was giving me fits. I figured out what was wrong after I ripped it all out. I decided to hook up a single volume control just to mess around and it sounds dangerous!!! Strangely enough almost any pedal sounds great with this bass (and headphones). Maybe I've been using the wrong bass for dirt for all of these years.
Now what do I do with a spare MFD?
My girlfriend wants to get me a pedal for Christmas, and has a budget of roughy £100. For once, I'm all out of GAS. Any ideas for something I could use in a doomy/ambient/progressive black metal band?

The tremolo goes virtually unused, so I guess I'm ideally looking for something Boss-sized I could swap in.

Never played a master vol version, but if it can get the same natural breakup the non master vol can at more reasonable volumes I'd say go for the master volume version. Also the non master bold version only has reverb on the effects channel.

Not a fan of them I'm afraid. Also, the phaser got me enough dirty looks to last a lifetime

Ive never gotten the hang of good use of delay on bass... any pointers?
I always used mind for ambient bits and feedback, so there wasn't any cleaver trick to it. Just turn on, play note, and let nature take it's course. Since I got the EHX Cathedral, I only really use delay for the detuned modulation.
I found out two days ago that my band had a show booked with Black Tusk (one of my favorite bands). Just found out a few minutes ago that bassist Jonathan Athon passed away today from injuries sustained from a severe motorcycle accident yesterday. The level of bummed is very high. Roll one up/pour one out/rip some doom riffs for a fallen brother amigos.
