Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

I'm at about 7-8:00 on volume. I'm thinking the 410s vs. 110/112 would help more than just turning down. I can hear the bass etc., but it's quiet enough that I can't hear all the articulation of my OD/fuzz. Hopefully one speaker would be better for that.
Speaking of which, would this be the "underpowering your cabs" myth (for lack of a better term) that I've heard of? I might now be a believer! Definitely doesn't sound the same effects-wise at lower volumes.

How many watts is that combo?
I find quiet dirt always sound worse regardless of how you quieten it. I realize that difference in tone between volumes is also a matter of taste. I like an amp with a master volume for quiet practice. My gk mb500 with the master at a hair over off does well with dirt.
I also use my 50 watt crate tube combo preamp cranked and master down low.
Joe liked that orange micro terror for guitar and bass. I wouldn't mind getting one someday.
I still love my El Oso. I haven't been using it with the EGC, but we've spent a lot of time jamming in B standard which is when I whip out the Jazz bass. I use the Wizard Fuzz as an always on with the Jazz just like the EGC, but since I solo the single coil bridge pickup with the Jazz I can't get that thickness plus additional grit just by digging in harder like I do with the EGC, so I use the El Oso as a stacked pedal on top of the WF. It works really, really well for that application.
Haha. When I first clicked on that band's bandcamp I was like, this music is going to be so stupid. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. A lot of the lyrics are downright hilarious and the tunes are really solid. I'm amused by how unabashedly straight forward they are about all their songs being about weed. There's one track called Alligator Crawl and I was like oh, swamp band, this song is probably actually about alligators. Nope, it's about weed named alligator that gets you so stoned you can't walk right haha. We may or may not be future label mates with those guys

Wussy. I was expecting it to be way heavier. When i bought it, it had no casters, luckily i had some extra laying around. But what made it awkward to one man carry is its almost as deep as it is wide.
I brokered the deal on @Pelham Bleu 's 3620. I didnt think that was too bad of a cab with two people. Even on a flight of stairs.
I carry a heavy amp, so I guess my perspective is skewed.
Part of me laughs, as that isnt even cold.
Part of me knows that poopie sucks, and people in the south die because they are not prepared to heat their homes. Get some space heaters going, so your pipes dont freeze. If you are renting, tell your landlord that he needs to provide them.
Yea I know it could be worse. It's just weird that mid November it's almost as bad or worse as the height of winter usually.

I used to like the cold. Now that I lost weight it hits me hard.
This is pretty funny. From my understanding, Fister's trailer got stolen and some of Beneath Oblivion's gear was in it. A guy tried to sell BO's bass guitar at a Guitar Center, where I think a dude from Rwake works and knew about the trailer being stolen and recognized the bass. Called the cops and got the dude arrested.
