Oh an thank you Lord Datassian for bestowing two tights sightings today barely ten minutes apart. I'm not deaf but pretty sure I just read lips.

This was the other Dano I liked. The long horn just looked to wide and short for my tastes. It just doesn't look comfortable. Never tired one though.View attachment 513219
Longhorn wasn't hard to play but it is weird. I like this double cut too. The 56 has a dolphin nose and that's just not my thing.
Nervous and pumped for Hex Volt's first live show tonight. I've been trying in earnest for over two years now to get a two-piece bass-drums thing up and going and playing out, tonight we're finally doing it. Keep the faith Corey Y!!
Nervous because I've never carried this much of a band before. I've fronted a power trio on lead guitar before but I had my lovely wife/bassist/ backup vocalist to provide some stage presence and something to look at. Nor have I ever tried to incorporate pedals / wah action much before, certainly not while playing AND singing lead. Never took on a full set that was anywhere near as aggressive vocals-wise as this one. Also I've got to bring, set up, and run the PA and I've never used this particular setup out of the garage in a full live situation before. What could POSSIBLY go wrong? I have to keep reminding myself it's a fckn Tuesday night at the local dive. That and to just take the fear and anxiety and put it into playing harder and screaming louder... Fear + anxiety -> playing harder, screaming louder. Which I guess is a good a summary of the whole point of this band as I'm gonna find.
Basic Tone not really by ear, on 6 inputs theres the added fuzz circuit. Power, the 6 inputs are 300 watts at 2 ohms and the 4 inputs are 210 at 2 ohms.
Yippee I get to drive 6.5 hours in a snow storm tomorrow, which will probably either be a lot more hours than usual or go as far as I get and get a hotel. I forgot I had two and half days off for Thanksgiving so last minute decided to head back home to PA to see my family and of course it gets effed up. And I get to go home solo. Relationships and kids are great but an opportunity to fly solo for a few days, visit kin, party with my little brother, eat real food, lots of guitar shops, go to actual bars that actually have bands, and hit up craigslist...yep snow is like being shite on by the clouds, winter wonderland my arse.
I was wondering why our bands facebook page was getting some likes last night from other countries. Turned out our drummer wanted to get the opinions of some of his musician friends on our stuff before we do our final mixing and mastering so he made a bandcamp page and now our **** found its way onto youtube. Weird to think that someone in china just listened to a song I wrote. Sucks though our unfinished **** is out there in interwebland.
Diggin the fan vid someone did though.
my 4 input says 210 @ 4ohms

Do any of you guys have issues with mic clipping and hand held recorders? Despite setting the gain appropriately to make sure the preamp never clips, we get these static pops/clips in our recordings every practice. For the longest time I thought it was a loose wire in my H2 or something, but we tried an H1 and the same thing happens. During one of our songs where we play very quiet and low, no pops. So I'm thinking despite the gain being set properly, the sheer volume of our amps is just too much for a portable recorder.
I'm going to try putting it as far away as possible next time, but our room isn't that big. Would upgrading to something like an H4 help this, or is that just additional features and capabilities?
That's some next level eurotrash cartoon right there. Weird... Lol. Cool that people are digging you guys enough to go out the way and do that.
Thanks! We still have final mixing and send it off to be mastered was hoping in like 2 weeks. With a song like that and video that awesome i wouldnt be made at all. That fuzz slays man. When are you aiming to actually release it?
Cool tune & vid.
Like he said, go kick ass and have a great gig. If it doesn't work out, buy yourself a pedal and cheer up.Good luck man and have fun.
