Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

supposed to do a desert road trip with the band mates, couldn't motivate, my basset stole my mozzarella cheese, took a selfie that looks definitely too brit pop for my own good, got irritated that nobody in the tb photo thread ever likes any of my darn photos, set up both my g&ls, just got back from hiking, so tired from work if i had any beer or turkey i might pass out

I ran into a girl I dated for seven years and was engaged to while taking my son trick or treating. Hadnt seen her in at least 16 or 17 years. Was a bit odd for me to say the least. I miss what we were and realized in the 5 minute awkward conversation we had that we were such very different people now.

It's such a weird feeling because I am in a happy and healthy relationship but it just brought back such memories especially noticing she still had the same mannerisms, like jumping in a time machine. I think it is easier bumping into an ex you dislike now LOL.

I get it dude. My ex wife got remarried two months ago, some old friends posted pictures on FB. Just weird to be pulled back to a place you moved on from.

I also ran into one into my buddy that I was in the National Guard with and haven't seen him since he divorced his wife who I hear from often. I never took sides but it was still strange bumping into him and his new girlfriend who he left his wife for. He said I guess you heard I said that is life dude all I care is you are happy now and he said yes very. The same day his ex asked me to pick up a Hess toy truck for their son because no Hess gass station's up here anymore. For some reason that is a tradition to collect each year's model of toy truck they make.
