Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

I just made a PBw/honey, Nutella and banana sandwich on a John Dough roll that I made at work. It was the bun I posted similar in composition to the pretzel bun except without the lye.

PB+ banana is my main thing.

@CL400Peavey I will have to try that. I have done a grilled peanut butter and banana and that was good. I wasn't blown away by it, but it was definitely good. I think it was the butter that kept it from being a 10/10 for me honestly, which for me is bizarre as I love butter.

I do them on a george foreman or similar style griddle. No butter.

I finally texted the drummer from Warp Rig and asked if we are ever going to jam again. We got together and worked on songs the week after my kid was born, 4 months ago, and I never heard anything since. It left off with "we'll text you when we're free next". I figured I'd just take the initiative, since the guitar player is in another gigging band already.

Anybody ever had appendicitis?
:rage:
Sitting in the ER waiting to see a surgeon.
I'm ready to kill someone. Damn doctor lied when he said I could go right in without having to wait.
Really hope this ain't what they say it is.
Might have to miss seeing Down Wednesday.

Yeah, unless you have massive trauma or are very young/very old you're going to wait in the ER. Always.

Hope everything works out, man! Hang in there!

Start writhing, making gutteral moans, fever dream talking etc.

If they aren't sure and it hasn't burst, they wait.

Throw up in a bed pan.

I went to the ER with what I thought was appendicitis but turned out to be kidney stones. Worst pain I'd ever been in, drove myself to the hospital, waited 1/2 an hour in the waiting room, another 45 in the back of the ER, finally picked up a bed pan and started dry heaving into it. Wasn't intentional, it actually hurt so bad I started to throw up. Within seconds there was a doctor and nurse there, had an IV of pain killers, and they were drawing blood from the other arm for tests.

This process started last night about 2am. Though I had food poisoning. Things processed negatively so I went to an urgent care doctor who insisted I was to come to the main hospital to see a surgeon. At the ER. Hospital surgeons only see patients that have seen their doctors.
Urgent care is a waste of shagling time.

That's what I've always heard, I don't think they are any more equipped than a school nurse, it's basically a CVS/Walgreens OTC stuff with a person administering it. Not being qualified to do anything but take your money 90% of the time, they'll be happy to refer you to a hospital or something after that.

If you can't wait, it's always gotta be the ER.

They must be big business though they are popping up everywhere, no doubt taking advantage of obamacare recipients and others by parading as an ER so once your in the door they can charge you and boot you.

Man, this bass in this sounds huge: https://marijuana.bandcamp.com/

Fk yeah, Goya's awesome. Though I can't say for sure who's actually playing the bass on those recordings, they've had a couple different guys on bass recently.

I'm turbo-bummed that Hex Volt had to decline a show with them in a few weeks due the drummer's frackin' work Holiday Party. F Christmas parties. All I want for Christmas is DOOOOM

In other Phoenix AZ area heavy loud news, TwinGiant has a new record "Devil Down" which is available streaming now
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
also on Spotify.

These guys are great, check them out. They are playing next Saturday with Midnight Ghost Train less than a mile out of town, but I will miss it because wife booked mini-vacation up north in Williams AZ so the kids can ride the "Polar Express"-themed tourist steam train to the Grand Canyon and maybe see snow. Which will be fun. But it will have to kick an awful lotta ass to be a better ride than the Midnight Ghost Train.
