So, euro trip update: we've spent the last two days in county Tipperary in Ireland, based in Cashel. Holy ****, it's amazing. Ruined castles, churches and Abbeys everywhere, incredible natural areas, good weather (compared to home), really excellent food and super nice people. London was ok, cool to visit but pretty much like any other big city. The food there was some of the worst I've ever eaten. I get now why people say British food is so terrible. It's not just because they like weird stuff like kidney pie and jellied eels, it's because everything is legit awful. I don't understand how someone could **** up a hamburger so badly but they found a way. Everything we tried was terrible. Ireland on the other hand, has incredible food. I consider myself a foodie (even though i hate that term), and I've eaten at some really high end restaurants in LA, Chicago and Boston for work functions, and Ireland has seriously good goddamn good.
Anyway, off to York tomorrow for a couple days, then back home.
