Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Dude idk I don't even care if the gman reads this is and goes and busts them somehow.
They all have or had an issue at one point, but they don't live in pain, have 100% mental and physical use...

Joes migraines are more serious than what these guys ail from.

Does disability pay vary state to state? A friends mom back home lives in squalor and she's legitimately really disabled.
You know, I don't know. I guess it depends on who your social worker is and so on.

Gigging tonight. Will be using the Vulcan + 3620. Also taking the AD200 to share (w/3620) with the other two bands. Using my namesake Thunderbird, too and also taking the Squier VI for the first time live. Basically just trying out new combos of stuff for the hell of it; it's a divebar show so why not?
That's actually really funny. I've been to several shows where one dude provides the backline.
Usually he throws an old Peavey beater up there for anybody else and saves his "sweet tube amp" for himself.

dug up this old jam from like 4 years ago...don't know what we were thinking, but there are some cool parts. It meanders a little too much perhaps to what we typically do. More of an Earthless vibe I suppose.

500 megs is like refreshing the stoner doom thread for 2 days straight. You're gonna need at least 2gigs or WiFi.
I'd recommend both.

Yea I think I have 1-2gigs and wifi as often as I can. I for do any heavy downloading at home.

If I travel a lot and walk a lot listening to youtube I get the warning and end up paying $10 for another gig, that doesn't rollover (AT&T).

Time to get British

If I had to guess, I'd say it updated every app and the OS on the phone via 4G. I make all my updates manual and try to stay on WiFi as much as possible. We used to be on a grandfathered in unlimited data plan with Verizon that cost us an arm and a leg, because the wife streaming and downloaded stuff all day at her old job when it was slow and they didn't have any WiFi. Since she's been off work we switched to a prepaid plan and I've had to be more careful about downloading podcasts while at home or in the office and stockpiling them for when I drive and that sort of thing, but it's saved us hundreds of dollars a month.

Says only used 25megs?
Have to call customer service in the morning.

Man my family here is embarrassing, Ike 1/3 of them are on disability and brag about it and idk what the hell they deserve it for, none seem to be ailing.

Two things.

How could you be content with whatever paltry sum that could possibly be if you had any function in your body you'd think you'd go out and earn.

Two, how much are they making you think? My aunt has a full TV package, eats out all kinds of stuff. She has Internet, but I consider that something everyone should have. Regardless, they just seem to be living too well for what seems to be just really sleepy lazy people.

poopie pisses me off. Good thing some people work two jobs and pay a poopie ton in taxes.

What a GREAT shaging night!!
Just got home from our show with Karma to Burn. What an awesome show! It was practically a packed house. We played a perfect set. We played awesome and everything just felt perfect on stage. Great band chemistry. It was the kinda show you always hope you play while playing! I let Rhin use my bass rig and got to hear it out front for the first time and was just floored by it. (Btw, if you haven't heard Rhin look em up on bandcamp! There are an incredibly awesome bass driven punked out sludgey dirty noise rock by some good friends of mine and they crush it. You are craving what they do, trust me.) Then Karma played just a stellar show. It was their first show before the American tour and the first show with my buddy Eric playing bass for them and it was just awe inspiring! If you get a chance to catch em, do it! And tell Eric I said hi! Afterwards, all the bands went out together to hang and I gotta tell you, it made it all the better. What a good bunch of guys. Plus, the girl from town that I have a killer forbidden crush on spent the whole evening hanging with me just being the tastiest thing around. I didn't touch, cos ive got a great girl, but I was half drunk her vibes. The things I would do to her! Then, I came home to find my girl waiting up for me just wanting to end the night right! Life is shaging good today! Damn!
(Was that too many exclamation marks? It was that kinda day.)

Did I mention the venue provided pizza and beer as well as microbrew sodas?!

I don't even know if we got paid and I could care less it was such a good day!

There is also the people that should be on a form of disability but have to take years to get classified. Mostly because these leches that can work milk the system.
A good friend of mine is physically beat down, beside being half blind from birth. Decades of being a mechanic on processing rigs and equipment have taken it's toll.
It's a shame to see someone so used to working (wants to work) and contributing to the household go down a depression spiral.
He's only 10 years older then me.

Oh I agree. My mom has Parkinson's, and has been waiting forever to get approved for disability. She has work with the condition for the past 10 years, but simply can not any more. She and my step dad have zero left in savings after medical bills. She truly needs to be on disability, but (I) will be getting a lawyer to help get the process through a little quicker since the last 18 months have seen no movement.
