Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

So like two days ago I went hiking out in the woods behind my grandparents and crossed a creek and slipped. My feet got soaked, but I continued on. Later, I realized my wet canvas boat shoes had been grinding on my ankles and I bled all over my pants.Didn't seem serious then last night all of a sudden my feet and ankles swelled like crazy and I couldn't articulate them. The pain was unbelievable and if I had to walk I was reduced to shuffling like a zombie. Late last night my aunt gave me a Valium, muscle relaxer or feminine hormone pill as her eyes are bad and she won't wear glasses. Then I rubbed neosporin on my wounds.
Woke up completely fine. Anyone experienced sometime like that? It felt for sure like my feet would fall off.
Now today I can't taste anything and all stuffed up on the cusp of all the feasting.

He wasn't even trying to break in...he was just tryin to break stuff. The explosion of glass from my bedroom literally scared the sht out of me, luckily I was on the toilet at the time. hahahaha

Sounds like you got Bum...Rushed! Sorry about your windows but glad it wasn't worse. You should of stuck a custom catfish rod up his arse!
Just stumbled on this fuzz pedal yesterday, I wonder how it sounds on bass, but I dig the guitar tones from it.

No day job for me this week or next. Just had a late night last night, and just getting up now.
Suppose I should do some christmas shopping...
I only had about an hour of work to do yesterday and it was dead, so I finally milled some of the rough lumber alder I bought over a year ago. I got a pretty nice grain matched 2 piece body blank glued up. Seeing as how I pretty well fudged up the pine body I made trying to give it a gloss black poly paint job, I was thinking I might stain this one and do a satin wipe on finish or something.
I know you got the second job but hope you are getting to enjoy yourself some at least. I was thinking of you last night as I had to cook a bunch well to me a bunch of taco meat last night for dinner tonight. Just 6lbs but it took while with the normal household kitchen gear. Then when I got all finished Sarah says you have to tell my Mom I made it, because she will never ask any of us daughters to help make dinner if any of the husbands or boyfriends end up making it, she is that old school. I get off at noon and there has been nothing to do here for days, so a nice work week LOL.
Awesome, Bring on the wood porn! I so need to finish my Jazzguarbird with the extra time off from work. With the pickup trim rings the extra bit of route is minute so I think I can live with that. Just hoping I have enough wood around the pickups to screw in the trim rings, not easy to eyeball that. I need to find something to mark the holes like a wax pen or something that won't mess up the finish if I can't use the trim rings. Any suggestions? I usually drill everything before finishing but the trim rings were an after thought after they were mentioned on here.
I didn't take pictures of the finished body blank, because I just clamped it up and then left for the day. I did take a picture of the rough lumber on the planer jig I made, so I could joint the face. The piece was mostly straight, just a really minor bow and twist, so it only took one pass to knock off the high spots get one face flat, before I planed it down for thickness.
Getting out early today, then it's off until 1/5/15! The way this fall's been, I'm ready for some serious RnR. Headed with the mizzus to Nawlins for some tourism.
You should make that upper cool section with the full ring the center of your bass if you have enough to center it and add wings to that portion. I'm off till the 5th as well. Manager told me you need to take time off. If you don't I'm not going to feel bad when you have your heart attack.

Ha ha ha I thought our little guy was up as I heard talking while getting ready for work. And I kept yelling I think I hear a Chicken Neck, then I hear more muffled yells, and yell yep I hear a Chicken Neck, then I hear the ol' lady yelling shut up Joe, stop yelling, don't wake him up that was me talking to the dog, ha ha ha. If I am up, everyone should be up I figure LOL.
