Man it took me ages to get a long with delay pedals but I sure miss them now that my dog keeps destroying them. Decided to try out the EHX #1 Echo. I hope it is decent.
so i live in a town full of hipsters who hate us but we somehow have made it on a few local publications as being an album of the year. were more post-metal but have some doom elements so feel free to vote for a fellow TBer

Probably gonna have to pay more than I want, but I found a mint peavey series 400 with regular channel, effects channel (fuzz, distortion w/blend and phaser) with active EQ, master volume and reverb.
Automix Footswitch included, so I can select or combine channels as well as control the phaser and reverb. The fact this is included lets me have some peace.

We used to have this New Year's game with some friends, we got so wasted on the New Year's Eve that we celebrated the new year in every time zone. Some Pacific island was the worst, it was around 9 AM. I had a hangover for like 2 days afterwards

So a couple we are friends with is in town for the Holidays and they met us for dinner last night. The husband is a physics professor and has a phd in theoretical physics. It was like having my own Neil deGrasse Tyson to ask stupid layman questions about the universe. He was so excited to have someone remotely interested in what he knows/does too. It was fun watching him light up and jump around explaining all this weird shite to me. Wish I had more time to pick his brain and watch him go...next time.
My brother-in-law has an advanced degree in astrophysics (works as a software coder), but he's not so good at engaging in conversations about any of it with a layperson. At their wedding I sat at a table with him and some of his grad school friends who were getting drunk and having theoretical arguments that were so far over my head that I quickly gave up and went to a table that was full of my sister's friends. That was a lot more fun.

funny thing is I was scrolling down on my phone real slow and saw this and the first thing that went through my head was "god damn!" and "schwing!"... then I scrolled and saw mbelue had the same thought and I cracked up!! It's official...she's a babe!
Btw...I just lucked into a hell of a good deal on a fender neo 610 to match my super bassman!
Im lucky on shipping, but feel like the little guy always gets screwed. I was going to have it shipped to my FedEx account and it would cost $173...yikes... but the guy I was buying it from can ship it through his dads business $32!! My account is "supposed to" give me "discounts". But DAMN! How much is the common guy getting soaked so that businesses get the hookup? Or, if shipping CAN BE that cheap, why do we get charged soooo much? No matter at the moment cos im super happy for the hookup!
He is a professor so he has these tricks to explain hard concepts for students, so I could keep up...mostly. Plus my weird questions to me weren't all that weird to him I guess. I do that with football though, not over my head but boring to me, so I like to go hang out with the hotties and get my eye candy on.
Man pedals seriously are like crack/crack, etc. Just ask these guys. I need more fuzz, more fuzz, more fuzz...never really bonded muff's and fuzz faces, so I bought a sort of op amp tone bender style EWS Fuzzy Drive today LOL.
