Not one of those specifically, i have an early 4 input bass 400, but it says Peavey on it. Couldnt tell you how wide a 400 series amp is without it infront of me but its 3 or 4 inches narrower than a standard 412.
How many inputs does it have, 4 or 6 and what do the knobs look like? I can tell you more about it with those questions answers
Thats amazing condition, but i still wouldnt pay 300 for it. If you can talk him south of 250 it would be a good deal.
6 input with the block dot metal knobs puts it later 70s but it still has an early 400 series power section. It does 200watts at 2 ohms not 300watts at 2ohms like later 6 inputs. So that puts it from somewhere around 74-76.

Yea I was hoping for south of $150 for just the head, I got my two 4x10 columns for it already.
I would not feel bad about spending 150 on a head of that condition. The black dot stickers on the kmobs always fall off with any regular use, the fact that it has all of them yet is quite amazing to me, like that was never been played or something.

Had like 10+ people wanting my crate v50 while out of town, but I'm still tempted to check out this guys Roland jazz chorus JC-77 trade bait. So far some light research shows the bigger JC-120 going for $350-$500, and threads suggested the 77 commands around $250-$350 so I am pretty sure I'll do a flip. And in the meantime experience "the best clean tone" whatever that means.
Sold some pedals in town and on reverb today. and some monitors to sell as well, but the guy flaked on his proposed 8am meeting time.

But I must admit, its mostly edumacated guesstimating. So any peavey info i give, give me like a 2-3 year error margin. And i concentrate on early SS, up to about mark VI stuff, more than tubes or their modern SS. Id like to check out one of their modern SS to see how it compares to granddaddy Vulcan at some point.
But I can also name most cars i pass while driving at night by headlights snd taillight alone.
