Alright, so this seems like a better place to ask than the general talkbass populace. If I was looking to get more heart-stoppingly loud, would I be better off to get another dually, then through some sort of splitter box run two dually's at 2 ohms. or get another head + cab? Or will the meatsmoke even push hard enough to warrant another cab increasing volume.
Adding a second cab will give you an additional 3 dB of volume. Doubling your power gives you an additional 3 db of volume.
If you are not pushing your amp dead out right now, then a second cab will be a big improvement in volume. A 300 watt tube amp should be pretty loud already with one dually if you are pushing it hard.
My recommendation is another dually and a used SVT to power it. Chained from your Meatsmoke, of course.
Unless you can find a Peavey Classic 400, cause that would be mo' better.
Can't even fathom what two Dually's driven by an SVT and a Meatsmoke would sound/feel like. I struggle to handle my SVT alone passed 3.My recommendation is another dually and a used SVT to power it. Chained from your Meatsmoke, of course.

Get the second Dually. If you can run the Meatsmoke at 2 ohm, it will slaughter. If not, you can run another amp (even a much lower powered one) clean for more thump.
Another instrument cable.yeah it can run at two ohms. My question is what will i need in order to hook up a second 4 ohm dually.
We played a birthday bash at another bands Studio a few months back...They have two guitar players running two stacks a piece. So to compete the bass player had two Ampeg 810 running. Pretty sure it was a power amp head. I plugged in the board and engaged the blower box.... Sounded so nice! Dueling dually would be similar kind of awesome. Can't even fathom what two Dually's driven by an SVT and a Meatsmoke would sound/feel like. I struggle to handle my SVT alone passed 3.
Another instrument cable.
Daisy chain from one cab to the next. If your current cab only has one connector, order the next one with two.

Meatsmoke has 2 outputs on the 2ohm tap?No. Another speaker cable.
