Man just had a knock on my door, I don't much care for that ever since it is usually bad news or unwanted quests. Well it was a cop and he asked for my girlfriend which is a semi relief as I would much ratger br the one visiting someone in jail then being the one visited. So he hands her a paper and says you are being summoned for jury duty. so no big deal but you know you live rural when a county cop delivers a jury duty notice.

The Altec is ALIVE!!!

Got some fuses from rad shack and fired it up. Tubes started to glow and I heard a very faint hum coming from my cabs. Volume knob is ever so slightly scratchy but that's it. After that i hooked up the ART tube MP and plugged in the ATK. Gave it a solid 30 minutes of playing and it performed perfectly. Thing sounds shaging awesome - it's really clean, which i expected, but i didn't push it very hard or dime the volume knob.

It's pretty loud, but being 100W it's not doom loud with a 5 string. I think it's really going to shine as guitar power amp. I wish i had a 4x12 to plug into it.

Chunt needs to be an everyday term.

I think when I did it, I was using my Crest stereo power amp, either set off to the side or maybe on top. I don't think I would have put a big tube amp on top of them. They don't have the same type of corners so that they would be interlocking. On top of that they're much taller than they are wide and pretty light, so when I stack them vertically they're way taller than an 8x10 or two 4x10 cabs stacked and a bit wobbly. Every time I've played with both of them though, they were spaced either side of the drum kit, so I didn't have a huge issue with comb filtering anyway. I would try the crossfiring thing sometime, just to find out how it sounds.

I have been trying to convince my guitarist to let me put my cabs side by side specifically to avoid comb filtering as a result of spacing cabs around the drums. Am I mistaken or misunderstanding this concept?

I have been trying to convince my guitarist to let me put my cabs side by side specifically to avoid comb filtering as a result of spacing cabs around the drums. Am I mistaken or misunderstanding this concept?

Putting them side by side, cross fired has the best dispersion through the entire room. Either side of the kit looks cooler Some folks feel too much is made out of the dispersion thing, so try it both ways, have someone else walk around the room and see if it makes any difference to you

You might check lava cables. Theyre assembled here in oklahoma and make nice cables. I know theyll do custom stuff to if you send them an email.

It is pretty amazing. It doesnt have a stompable dirt section though.

See that is what I told him. My bass has 24 frets, his guitar has less. Therefore I have more.

I have the 205, I've been really happy with it, no complaints.
