I Got El Caco "Solid Rest" & Priestess "Hello Master" off iTunes tonight. They didn't have "Viva" but from a quick first listen I'm loving everything I've heard on the El Caco album. Priestess has a few songs which sound pretty good too.

Hell yes!!! Age of Winters was all I listened to for like a month straight. Glad to see some other people are into them. Best stoner rock band to come out in a long time.

You could Try "Catherdral" (Doom/Death metal)

Pardon my ignorance, but are we talking about the same Cathedral I saw 10 years ago in a ****ball club that was filled with middle aged guys doing a mediocre Sabbath rip off?

Age of Winters is a wicked good album Only thing that angers me about that album is that all the songs either start or seem to revert back to the same key. Then again, that makes it a little easier for the downtuned guitar style they seem to play in.

The new Colour Haze album is nothing short of incredible, quite possibly their greatest work which is really saying something. Anyone interested in this type of music should check out any of their albums, and this one would make an excellent start.

Does anyone know the band on Deuce Bigelow European Gigalow, when they get stoned and he walks into the pic? Ive heard some of it twice but I cant figure out who plays it.

Ten years after? You mean "I'd love to change the world" Ten Years After? Great band, but just because a band gets stoned doesn't make them "Stoner Rock." THIS is why I wish Stoner Rock wasn't called... Stoner Rock. When I tried to start a stoner rock band in the area, I kept getting messages from people saying that they loved the Dave Matthews Band and wanted to start a jam band with me.
