I would love to see a see a sci-fi/fantasy themed Build-Off but I'm not sure I'm "cool" enough to participate. Although, I have been subtly inserting HHGG references in few of my builds; I think that makes me a dork?

I have that somewhere, haven't read it (or seen it) in years. My introduction to Guy Gavriel Kay was seeing him on Prisoners of Gravity, a show from Ontario public television where comedian Rick Green interviewed fantasy and science fiction authors. That has to be one of the more obscure corners of nerddom.

Without Four on the Floor there would be no Kids in the Hall. Without the Kids in the Hall, I'd never have heard the Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet. And without the Shadowy Men, I'd probably never have said "Hey, I bet I could learn to play that."

I’ll make an attempt even though the summer garage/ yard will be hot and humid.
I am thinking something a bit strange
Acoustic, but with a pickup so that those who think I need to be heard will not have to comment on the lack of volume even the oddest design will provide.
As of now the plan is a walnut neck, spruce top, and cherry back and sides.
