Into an amp, for gigging and home rehearsal.

I rarely do any home recording, but if I ever get back to that then sure, I'll run it into my iRig.

Tried it at 18 volts last night. I prefer 9v. Can't exactly say why though. Just feels better.

If this has already been asked my apologies....but can this drive a power amp like a Sans Amp or do you just run this with a head and can also be used for recording..Thanks.

Unfortunately I'm having to send my super 300 back to Tim today. The bypass control did not work this morning all of sudden. He had me troubleshoot a few things, and its not the switch, so its gotta go back for repairs. Praying for fast shipping both ways!

Finally got an afternoon to ring it out. Has a nice growl with my TI flats equipped P Bass. It looks like always on for me.

I’ll give mine a try in the Mesa D800+ FX loop. Only ran it out front with the rest of my board so far.

It's already later than expected, sheesh. My local post office sucks. Because of this I usually get items shipped to the post office one town over, near my employer, but I've been teleworking the past year so I've been having stuff delivered to my home. Oh well... "late" is preferable to "never" (keeping my fingers crossed).

I love that "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out!" tone. Can only imagine what it was like to hear Keith play through multiple SVT stacks.

I think I'd pick Exile, but it's hard to argue with anything from their classic period.

The "Get Your Leeds Lungs Out" show from 1971 is another great one for Ampeg tone. It was released as part of the 3-CD edition of Sticky Fingers.

I know I said in a previous post that the Super Three Hundred can run on 18V - i'm going to have to take that back.

There is one part in there that is related to the switching system that i thought was rated for 25V but is actually rated for a maximum voltage of 18V. so if your power supply is putting out 18.1V and the chip happens to be on the lower end of the spec when it comes to the maximum voltage there is a chance that the chip can be fried and then the switching won't work. there is a slight possibility that ESD may damage the chip also but i think the chances of that happening are slim.

I apologize for this confusion. if you have a pedal that suddenly stops switching I will cover the cost of shipping it back and replacing the chip.

Mine made it thru the 18 volt experiment just fine, but I'm glad you updated the info here. I preferred it at 9volts anyway.
