Check out Fliptops.com

tons of ampeg related stuff, i actually plan on doing the same when i get my new cab.

johnk_10 your rig is so amazing i am going to save that picture and put it as my background.

Actually i was thinking since I know a buddy of mine who has his speaker cloth grill rip in transport and wreck a speaker, is it possible to get a metal grill like the ones on Mesas? I have seen it, the guy from Dragonforce had one on his SVT cab during the pink pop concert.

Looks like fliptops.com has gone the way of the dinosaur. any other suggestions?

those amps look exactly how I imagined.. Beautiful.. I can't wait to do mine.

ofcourse you have to remove all of the staples and the piping to regrill it.

on the 410 i made a new grill board, but on the 610 i added a 1/8" thick strip of spruce on two sides (one vertical and one horizontal) (the spruce was purchased from the local from a hobby shop) to make up the difference of regrilling it without the piping so there wouldn't be a gap between the grill cloth and the cabinet. then i just used a staple gun to mount the new stuff keeping it as tight as straight as possible. its actually a very simple procedure.
