I'll be using my newly built Schumann Lion X and PLL w/ the drone accessory for this one once he finishes the custom mods I specified.

Worked on a theme for about an hour last night. I think I have an idea on how I want to try this.

nice. Hobo Bass is an awesome name too.
that's funny. since we're doing a single take i'm going to use my 7 for the extra range. different directions are teh awesomeorz.
not NEAR good enough to play the 7 out. gonna be fun to actually use it on something.
My advice is not to think about it. Once you click go on your recording interface, crank the amp up and get to it. I know that's what I did in Vol. 1, and its what Mudfuzz did as well.
Of course, whether or not you like our tracks will help you determine if I'm full of it or not.

I found a unique noise source that I mixed with a fuzzy bassline - give it a listen and let me know what you think!

I need to upload mine, just recorded it today, about 90% happy with it,....
messing around afterwards on a bass wah and one of the cords failed
good timing tho! (ended up having to use far too many,... bass into two pedal boards (one into feedback loop) then into amp, salvaged all the cords I had!

not the best I could do but did want to capture that 'in the moment' vibe by alot of stuff on the fly... not long after one of my cables shat itself so will have to get more if I try doing this again!
edit: didnt include in there at all but just before cable died did a 'noodle' I recorded with Ibanez PD7 in overdrive into the non octave side of the tentacle love fuzz into weeping demon... I could have sat there all day if the cable hadnt died!!!!
