The 15'/6'/1' Bass Cab Appreciation Thread!!

I just got this cab on Monday and it is unreal. I can't wait till Saturday night to gig with it. I am using a GK Fusion with it and you can feel it. It doesn't even seem like it weighs 60lbs. I think I have found the last cab I will ever buy. Hats off to Avatar!
Congrats mam! Wait till you here it in the mix! I use a 4ohm cab, and for my particular situation, and the style of music I play, it thumps WAY more than I will ever need!
I ordered the 4 ohm but they accidently sent me the 8 ohm. I kept it as Dave made me a sweet deal. Also you sound great! I have listened to all of your you tube posts and you have a great groove. I let you know how Saturday goes.
This cab is very solid. Saturday I used it without any pa support in a small club and it filled the room. The bass was heard and felt. The band loved it and I got quite a few compliments from some people in the audience. If you are looking for a cab, this is the one.
Right on mam! The Avatar TB- 153 really exceeded my expectations! I am glad to hear that the cab worked out and that Dave was able to take care of you! It will just get better as u learn how to dial it in.
Question for all you 15/6 users. How is everyone using their rig in gig situations? Are you running through the PA and using the fearful for a monitor, or are you covering the room with it w/o PA support. I have one and I'm in the process of putting together a PA for a start up bar cover band, and was wondering if I should worry about putting my self through it. The Fearful rocks though!!
Yes, it depends on the room and it also depends on the size of your PA. If your PA cannot handle the bass being pushed thru it, that limits your options.Question for all you 15/6 users. Gotta love Bill Withers man! This cab can allow you to bypass the PA in any small to medium room. It's really as full range as I have ever experienced.

I have to echo Greenboy. I have yet to see a single 15 foot driver or six foot mid speaker in this thread.
I'm in the process of (slowly) building a second 12/6.

Maybe that's what that guy needs who posted a thread wanting a 24" speaker? A fifteen footer! Wow...that oughta put out some r-e-e-e-a-a-a-a-l-l-l deep bass!
Probably inefficient as hell though. Aw to heck with specs...bigger is better!

I just know that bigger speakers with lower notes take a long distance to 'open up' and be hearable.
So, theoretically a 24" speaker you'd have to be a few football fields away before you'd hear the bass. I also hear big speakers are a lot slower, so I assume you'd have to start the songs a few beats ahead of the rest of the band.
