I am proud to say that I will be joining your ranks soon!!!!! Today is my 17th birthday and my dad gave me a $150 gift card to GC!! I'm just waiting for my next paycheck (on the 30th!!!) and some other birthday money to wander in so I can purchase it new! I was looking at a used Fender Bassman 250/210 for $375, but it's been beaten up and it was farting a little w/ an Ibanez GSR200 (the bass I have) that I used at GC. I'm so psyched!!!!

Hello all

I just got my first bass today(Schecter Omen 5), and now I am looking for a practice amp. A buddy is possibly setting me up with one, but depending on what he wants for it I may decline. I've read these threads, but I figure I would make sure....would you guys recommend the B20?

As a practice amp, absolutely. Love mine. Get it if you don't plan on gigging anytime soon.

The B200. My 45-Watt Behringer wasn't cuttin it anymore! I'm so psyched!! I've already sold my Behringer and have to wait 5 days for my paycheck before I get the Acoustic Fortunately I have an acoustic bass (Fender BG-31) so I should be fine but I can't wait!!!!!

The tour lasted for six days, and was originally supposed to be four shows but one fell through. We basically went from Chicago to Pensacola, FL, and back. We played a show on the way down, a couple shows down on the Gulf coast, and were supposed to do a show on the way back but that's the one that didn't happen. We play kind of thrashy punk-folk-pop (guitar, bass, drums, tuba). One show was in a traditional bar-type venue, but the others were "alternative" venues, although a gig at a sort-of party played on the patio behind a coffeehouse was actually the best (and best-paying) show of the trip. We made enough between cover, donations and CD sales to cover gas and trailer rental.

Wait a sec, hold on! You mean to say there's a new combo like the B200 except that it outputs 600watts and is still under 500 Benjamins?!

I don't know if they'll make it a combo. It might just be a B600 head. Apparently it will be 600W @ 2ohm and 450 @4.

Actually, the B600H is a head due in October.

And that would be 5 Benjamins. Or 10 Ulysses, 25 Andrews, 50 Alexanders, 100 Abes or 500 Georges.
