Thought I would post my Acoustic Control Corporation 371's... I used to own 4 of them but got talked out a couple.
And my Kustom 3-15" 1966 Prototype that I am assuming is a Bass Amp.. My other 371 is peaking from behind it..
Can I have a number please ? This B200 combo is so under rated !! Its loud..its clear...punchy...my go to sound..and i can buy what i want and i always have played Acoustic..usually the B200 head with dif cabs,,it has handled every type of gig imaginable..i have tried to buy other amps and i always put this against them and it wins. Its not a subtle amp..its a players amp

Okay, here's the vintage 140 with 106 cab I scored from Guitar Center (click the thumbnails)...
...long story short, they didn't pack the cabinet so well, deciding to leave it sitting on it's aftermarket Ernie Ball pop-in casters with no padding on the bottom of the box (just padded on the sides and top). Needless to say the caster housings were all bent (but not the caster shafts!) when it arrived. Just so happened that I had an extra set of housings, so I simply swapped them out and I was back in business.
The cab itself is in good shape with no damage to the wood/frame, etc. There is some of the typical old "repair" work done to the seams of the Tolex in the back and along the bottom (glue + staples). The cab has the original amp feet cups on top, grill and grill cloth, with the original white plastic grill mounts and wire "pull tabs" for removing it. As mentioned, the original casters are gone and Ernie Ball pop-ins are on it.
The head seems to be in fabulous shape (well packed in a separate box) though I haven't opened her up to check dates on the parts yet... I think I'll email the owner of the amp repair shop that is reported to have sold this to GC and see what he can tell me about it and if he did any work on it.
The cab drivers are in beautiful shape and sound sweet! There was quite a bit of buzzing due to vibration, and upon closer inspection I found that most of the old mounting hardware was stripped through the wood... this appears to be old damage and not from the recent shipping. I pulled both drivers and re-mounted them on the baffle board. This cab has 2 matching JBL D140F-6 drivers (rated 150 watts, 16 ohms) in great condition with the original paper cones (numbered 29675) but is seems these were pulled from a Kustom cab and dropped in here since "Kustom electronics" is stamped on the driver frames. Click on the thumbnails for bigger pics:
There are no other numbers anywhere other than their serial numbers (11749 and 17989), so I'm not quite sure what year these drivers are... anybody want to take an educated guess?
Overall, I'm tickled pink and have been playing through this thing all the time since I've gotten the drivers re-mounted.
And I think many of you already know, this combination can put out some awesome tone and volume... as a guitarist friend of mine said when he saw it, "Wait... that's a 2-15? That's crazy!"

i sold my 140 head about a year ago after posting in this thread and now I see another 140 for sale locally in good shape for $170. I wasn't very impressed with it at 8ohms and thought of it mostly as a guitar head but I may grab it and see how it will sound with a 4ohm neo cab if it can run a 4ohms.
The 140 is much louder at 4 Ohms and that is a good price for one. If you're looking for headroom, you might wanna hold out for a higher powered Acoustic. A 370, 320, 450, etc. will give you more volume.
I am passing up the 140 at this point because I may buy an Anvil case for my SVT II. I have been through many lower powered amps and for solid state taste, I cannot think of a better amp for practice or backup than my GK 400RB. The 140 would be a backup for me as was my last one that I sold to a guitar player friend of mine.

Based on its low serial numbers (1058 for the head, 1044 for the cab), I figure it's relatively early production but I can't find any working links to the Acoustic Registry or to production numbers.

I recently found a near mint Acoustic 320 near me for $375 on the local craigslist. I was surprised to see the seller post that it runs 2 ohms, its only 300 watts, but is probably loud as hell. I thought the asking price was a bit high, but I just saw a recent 320 sell on ebay for $350. I am set with amps, but if anyone is looking for a great condition 320, check out the North Jersey Craigslist. The guy said he sold the matching 408 cabinet, that rig must have rattled walls.

There was a 361 cab in my area,they mistakenly called it an Acoustic 301 cabinet (301 doesn't have an amp in it, does it?). with the tube amp working properly, and the original speaker in good shape that a church wanted FIVE microphone stands in trade.
I spotted the post within half an hour of it going up
And shot off an email, offering to make a donation to the church as well as the mic stands.
I scrolled down...found and purchased 6 Mic stands from someone else for $20$!. Good ones too, 2 booms, and 3 regular weighted, plus a funny short one.
And then I forgot all about it.
I had given them the wrong phone number.
They held it for 3 weeks, and I just missed it by a few days.
They had sent several emails and I missed them.
I do not like the new way gmail display mail, new mail should go to the top, on mine it stays where you sent the first message and the only way you know there is a reply is it turns bold. Must be a way to fix it in settings or something.

So I am now back in the acoustic way in a big way HA. A few years ago I met a guy who sold me his old 150B/106 stack for $150, plus we split the cost of $125 in repairs to the head, so I was at $165. I tried to fix it up, resurfaced both the cab and the head box with Rustoleum truck bed liner as Duratex wasn't popular or common for a couple years. Long story short, I wasn't doing anything, the wife at the time b!tched and moaned and I sold it off. Broke about even all things considered if I recall. I loved the sound of it, but I wasn't playing with anyone. It just took up space in my garage.
Now however, I am playing in a gigging band. I picked up an Acoustic 370 in really good shape, but it did cost me. Saw a guy who picked one up at a pawn for $50, mine was decidedly more money. I liked it but wasn't totally sold, but after a while of keeping it, experimenting, adjusting, I finally got to where I really loved the sound. Especially for what my band is doing now. Truth be told though, I am not using it with an Acoustic cabinet.
BEHOLD!!!! MY 370 + GREENBOY DUALLY STACK!!!
And the best part, this is loaded with the Faital 4 ohm drivers. On the back is a Series/Parallel switch which allows me to jump back and forth between 2 ohms and 8 ohms. Now I can win ALL the volume wars. This will now harm small animals and children if pushed too hard LOL.
I will gladly take a number

Just got myself a 408! It needs some love, but I can't wait to get my 320 on top of it!
Any suggestions on the preferred speaker replacements, Blue (middle) grill cloth availability, or wiring diagram would save me some searching on the Acoustic Forum!
