The Acoustic Club

The newer heads get good reviews. I have a friend that's uses a B200 and it sounds killer. Sure he's a good bassist but the amp must have something to his sound.
I have wanted an newer Acoustic Head for a while. But really don't need another amp.
There, I said it....
I've also been sort of... you know. Casually "interested" in one of those. :D

Let's bring some light into the darkness

What's your favourite ACC rig?

It's a tossup between the original 360/361 stack and the Grexa 360m reissue. The Grexa stack is just a little smaller, has a DI out, and has a tweeter, so it's the one I use for gigs.

It does depend a little on the use, too. Neither bass amp works all that well for PA duty. Which means the scrounged PA from hell (including an ACC 400 power amp and a pair of 811/812 speakers) is my favorite for that purpose.

I let a 320/408 stack go. I liked it a whole lot, too, but the 360/361 wins by a nose.

Um, yes you do need another one. Dog math.

I'm still rocking my 371 heavily! The rig around it has evolved but the 371 remains the same, hard to believe but it's pretty evenly matched with the 4x15. Where that rumbles low and high, the 371 pushes air straight ahead with high velocity! I actually can drown the rest of the band out. I don't play like that but we wanted to test it and see if it would! 371 for the neck pickup and the 4x15 at 2 ohms on the bridge pickup through the darkglass!

Wow, was there still enough air in the room to breath?!
