1st Quarter of File = Neck Precision PU w/ Fingers
2nd Quarter of File = Neck Precision PU w/ Pick
3rd Quarter of File = Bridge Jazz PU w/ Fingers
4th Quarter of File = Bridge Jazz PU w/ Pick

When playing with fingers, I played over the neck PU, and when playing with a pick, I played over the bridge PU.

Thanks for rehosting. Note that Microsoft stopped developping IE for Mac. Thank god for that. Firefox and Safari are far more reliable and up-to-date.

In response to a couple of requests I've made some samples of the Guv'nor and the Prunes & Custard. While I was at it I made samples of some other pedals as well. So, here they are. If someone was after something specific settings wise on one of these I could accomodate them if they asked real nice like!

The Excel file explains in detail the settings for each sample.

Been experimenting around with the PDDI (again), but only on it's own, cus it sounds best that way IMO/E. Anyway I dug up the old settings I did for it, and started out with the reggae setting almost blowing up some stuff in the process I then continued to make changes to that setting: reducing the treble from flat to "off", and running the drive/mid knobs different. I also came up with a great low-mid-bass dub setting, and a variation with less drive so there's no OD in the upper register of the bass.

As you can tell from the 1st file is that the bass was set up and played for maximum trebleness!

Yes I do, but with limited space on my ftp I'm gonna wait a while before swapping what's there now with the other samples. Or I might investigate a free host, but I don't like the RapidShare thing, that name is the biggest oxymoron I've encountered in a long time - there's nothing rapid about it!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but megaupload seems to require a log in before a download is allowed. No?

And I think yousendit was the one that was limited to 25 downloads which may be problematic.

Concider yourself corrected. I did a little test of my own, and you just wait until the button says you can download the file. No logging in, no accounts, and probably about as good as it gets for "fast" file sharing!

Quice Edit: Oh, and you can get the DL link sent to yourself (as well as a delete link) so keeping track of all those files should be easier!

The soundclip isn't great for playing quality, but you get the idea.
Is anyones interested, the samples were recorded using the MXR's DI straight into the PC sound card. Then edited using Soundforge.
When I get myself sorted out I'll do some samples of the DOD Grunge and Boss DS-1.
