As far as witnesses, no idea if anyone said anything to the transito police. I know I supplied my Mex Driver’s license and may have given a short description to someone, but so far no paperwork, tickets etc have shown up. There were several folks there to help and surely someone saw the whole thing. But since I (a gringo with US plates and inadequate Spanish) was the only one obviously involved, not much for them to do. So glad my friend arrived and then my wife. She signed a paper allowing my ‘cousin’ to ride it home. If Transito tows it, odds of ever getting it back, let alone as is, are slim we are told.
i am healing well. Stitches come out today and start real PT on the ankle. Shoulder in a sling for a few more weeks then PT. No sign of any contact on the bike from behind, so who knows why I went down.

Well, glad for a good end to that story!

I tripped coming up my back steps back in June 2019 and head-butted the back door..was concussed for awhile and ouch did the top of my head hurt..I think I had a heap of CC members a tad worried at the time..poor G Doggy was off his Bonio's. ... ... ...

Yes! I, and many others around TB, were quite concerned when you showed up missing after that incident for quite some time! Glad to have you back, Giffy. ​
