Yes, blue would do it for me
Blue basses are important! A snip from a Zoom screenshot of our Wednesday jazz hang with the Ampeg BA108v2+ in clear view.

Thanks for the update. I'll ensure my journal reflects this new fact. The green is a bit too jarring for me.
No problem-o.Then leave it for someone else.
In a surprising number of ways, I'm kinda traditional. IIRC, the first guitars/basses I saw were "brown" as in 'wood-y' looking. I tend to go for sunburst finishes('cept for my Gibson LPB2/5). Not even a super fan of Gibson/Epi 'cherry'. I would prefer that my Epi EB-0 was black/ebony[or whatever they wanna call it], but all the 'not new' ones I could find were 'cherry'. Then again, for the $165 I paid for it...Thanks for the update. I'll ensure my journal reflects this new fact.![]()

Wait, we're not all playing a P-Bass into an Ampeg B15?No problem-o.
Luckily, we don't all have the same likes/dislikes. Otherwise, we'd all be playing a P bass>Ampeg B15. No thanks on both.

I've never played a P. I have played a B-18.Wait, we're not all playing a P-Bass into an Ampeg B15?

Once known as the King of Sub-Bass. From reports my old Peavey MKIV amp and 18" Black Widow gave similar results to the B-18...would have been an interesting shoot-out hey GP lolI've never played a P. I have played a B-18.
The P____ prolly had more cojones*, but that B18 was sweet. It was for sale. Why didn't I buy it? The owner knew what it was worth.Once known as the King of Sub-Bass. Ahh. But did it come with a hernia inducing cab?All of a sudden, what I paid for a new Ampeg PF20T doesn't seem all that bad!
Ahh. But did it come with a hernia inducing cab?
Nah. That doesn't count. You need a cab with a dried out, brittle speaker cone that will possibly cause you a slipped disk and not fit in whatever vehicle you own.Nope, I already had a Rumble 115 cab!

.. someone has to play it…
