My last rig, the combo and 2x10 cab of which got stolen (luckily the processing rack was kept in a different place). Yes it is stereo/2 channel... I modded my bass to separate electric and acoustic outputs.
It has been replaced with this...
I know it's not a combo anymore, but since I got this, I don't miss my combo.

love the curly cable, mine is the Vox "clear" cable. There's a Fender Hazy Purple cable too, but it's kind of heavy. My Vox cable is a solid performer.

I have been using my Greenline for about 18 months, both live and studio work. Sound engineers have commented very favourably on its ability to sit unprocessed in the mix. Musos have said what a great sounding bass and they now get why I bought it.
I run it through a Bugera Veyron Tube Amp with a NU-X Solid Studio in the fx loop for some driven power amp sound.
Live, it goes into PJB C4 and C8.
Backyard shows and rehearsals I just use the C4.
Hofner says they are original Staple Pickups. They have great tone and push a nice growl when dialled up.
I did some more looking at these. I think it's my new favorite version of the "violin bass."
Is it a hollow body? How much does it weigh?
Those are the blade pickups in that picture. Hofner used the blades as their main pickup for over 20 years. So a cheaper version can be found at some point. I got my 68 for just under 1200 USD with blades.
Hofner now equips them with the staple pickups, but your Hofner has the blades.
Looks like the Double Four combo will finally get to be tested against a full-sized acoustic guitar and perhaps mandolin in 2 weeks. A coworker who plays those instruments (and probably bass too) is interested in coming over for a jam. The planned bass setup:

It weighs 2.1 kg or 4.6 lb. Because my band flies to many shows, I got the Hofner Aluminium Flight case. With cables, pedal, tuner, stand and bass, that comes in at 11.5 kg or 25.3 lb.I did some more looking at these. I think it's my new favorite version of the "violin bass."
