loll a sarny..yep daylight saving...i know Iowa is about 6 hours behind UK time...i keep a UK clock here in SA as my wife is from Nottingham, UK loll..darn world time zones.

Confused for a moment. From my POV, SA is South Africa.
I wish I was still 38, had all my hair, & passed algebra! I'm already a big man (6'5", 240...OK, 260), but alas, I have no clubhouse!

My Markbass Mini CMD 121P, just found a new partner. The NY121 cab.
If Markbass suites the tone in your head, you will love this rig. The two go together like peanut butter and jelly. Still a very easy schlep to and from the gig and it's louder than two lightweight boxes have the right to be. I had this setup for a year or so and never had trouble burrowing through a 20-piece concert band.
If you crave some variety, gsg, add a pedal of your choice in front and enjoy. I liked the Tech 21 VT pedal to brew up some 'Peg vibe now and then. Congrats and enjoy, sir!
Loll Morri...believe me it's not just you. I was an Aussie Postie (postman) for 20 years and we would get letters for SA (South Africa) all the time, when SA is used here in Australia to denote South Australia..quite a common error in the Mail Delivery Field (MDF - thick as 2 short planks) loll. Contrary to public belief Posties are quite an intelligent funny mob of blokes and we know where ya live lolll

Summer of 1983...how’d ya find a picture of me? Playing in one of my favorite bands, Breakaway. From Bob Seger to Judas Priest, we did it all, and were by far one of the loudest bands in the area. I had to drum like Animal!
Heard that comment by many a teacher over the years to their young charges. My fave comment is, "That's a good start; I know you can improve upon it though. Take the challenge." Sometimes the challenge is not graciously accepted and then I go to, "See you at recess and we'll work on it together." That'll usually do the trick.

Then God's speed, our new member. Using the VLE (hi-cut) and VPF (boost lows/highs and scoop mids) can be all that you need if you dig the organic tone. They'll offer you a great variance. As I mentioned earlier today, I'm an Ampeg guy whether I like it or not and never want to be too far away from that base tone. Loosen up the New York ext cab over the next few weeks and see what you think of your sound later in the summer!
