I can't believe I missed this group. I've played nothing but combos my entire career since the early 90's. Even when I played guitar I used combos. Never was a separate head and cabinet guy. Even in my Eden days it was a Metro on top of 1x15.
Hey there, Cyborg! I saw your post on the Fender amp thread and was pleased to see you pop over here to join us. There are more and more Studio 40/Stage 800 owners all the time.
If ya can, upload a pic of your sweet 800 and I’ll add you to our esteemed list. Thanks for checking us out!
Numbah coming up later this evening, Basspopper! My guess is you’re not hurting one bit having only combos either. Don’t get me wrong, I love separates too, but I respectively disagree that combos are too limiting.
Welcome aboard, bass brotha!
So much for last night's membership number issuance. It was Homecoming Week in my school district this past week and I believe we all went home worn out. Surprisingly, young children still learned a great deal about physical science (understanding height energy in 4th and creating new substances in 5th). Needless to say, I snoozed last night.
Excuses aside, I would like to our two newest members, Basspopper, member #159, and Cyborg, member #160. Treat them as you would any other member; with advice, positive comments, and the occasional drool over their gear. Welcome folks, we're mighty glad to have ya in our club!

Could I BE any more of a Beatles fan? Well, yeah, sure, of course I could. But, over the decades, my musical interests have gone deeper into the Beatles influences and my own family roots. Not "stuck in the 60s", but actually regressed into the 50s, 40s and beyond!
