This lads father died fighting the fires on the east coast of Australia when his 10 ton truck was picked up by a fire tornado, flipped over and landed on its roof.

RR, your acoustic group sounds terrific. I could see that GK fitting perfectly. I wonder if Protagonist’s new PJB D4 would work with that type of group?
I had a hankering while shopping for my Super Beetle to look into the TE combos, but honestly couldn’t get past the price, though I agree with Morrighan that adding up the Elf head and 8” it 10” cabinets. For that much I wish there’d been a twelve in the box and could be used more often in its own and not DI’ed our to FOH. Cool-looking combos though.
Biggie, we found you the additional security staff you were asking for. Meet your new partner, Gone Plaid -The Cooler. Of course, I’ve had to reduce your salary to supplement his, but I’m sure now that you have your new combo you'll be okay with it...right?

Brilliant idea, instrumentalist! First we’ll have to ask Maggs because it’s directly adjacent to his pub. If this updating continues we may have to add another stall in the bathroom!
Got this GK1001/210 combo I bought for $400 about 10+ years ago. Have no idea what year it is, but it's pre "RB", or at least it doesn't carry that designation anywhere.
I like it very much, except it weighs in at 80 lbs (think a bag of cement). Fortunately it has a luggage style handle and little rollers. Still a bitch taking up stairs.
It is plenty loud, but later bought a [very light!!
] MBE 410 ext cab. Running 800w into the combos 2 tens seemed a bit much, so now I basically have a 6x10 rig. It's a GREAT set up weight aside! VERY LOUD and clean if need be!
Lately have been running the extension cab over to the other side of the stage. Can keep volume fairly low and the guys on the far side of the stage can hear me better. Also seems to fill the room a little better, or so the soundguy says.
I like it very much, except it weighs in at 80 lbs (think a bag of cement). Fortunately it has a luggage style handle and little rollers. Still a bitch taking up stairs.
It is plenty loud, but later bought a [very light!!

Ryco, that is definitely an oldie but I’ll bet a goodie. It’s got a slight resemblance to the Backline series from the electronics standpoint, and even a styling cue from an SWR Redhead...of sorts. I’m gonna say it’s possibly an 80’s model. Anyone? Bueller?

Tangentially, the Shure PA in the background had a poor reputation among those who tried using it for more than voice. For instruments it was the wrong choice but for vocals it did a great job.
That’s not bad at all for the price, Doc. Beautiful condition and all the appointments a person would want for either recording or gigging. Thanks for thinking of me! I’m about fifteen short, but it’d be the perfect retirement gift, don’t ya think?
The German ones are expensive, and think they are worth it, as they are 'custom shop' level instruments. Not too many people can own more than one instrument like that, so one must choose carefully.

Just imagine if ya made the buy, got it home, plugged it in your combo, and after 15 minutes of playing responded with a, “meh.” That’s what’s so scary about investing major coin on those types of guitars.

Since it is a left handed bass, it seems like it should be offered at a discounted price, since the the left handed bass market is so small.
Think it about it...how many true famous left handed bass players are there? Only the bass players that play a lefty bass, not the ones that flip a right handed bass upside down....

Oh, there’s not many basses so we are forced to mark them really high. Then when ya want to trade it in, gee, we hardly ever get anyone in here looking for a bass like THAT!
