Agreed. And I still kick myself in the keester for selling my 2 '63 piggyback Bassmans.
Yeah, they were only 40-50W, but dayum, did they sound good. I'm close to that tone(as I vaguely remember it)with my Rumbles[40, 100, 200c],which are a whole lot easier to schlep. And that's a major concern these days.

LOVE me some LaBella LTFs!! Got em on my P - they're approx 5 years old and are a pleasure to play. Most comfortable string I've ever played, but pack plenty of punch and authority. And I tend to hit em hard with the P!... forgot which LaBella flats you're using? I put the Low Tension Flats on my semi-hollow as an experiment after playing LaBella and D'Addario tapes in search of "the sound". They are breaking in without barbecue sauce and it's sounding incredibly thumpy. Not sure how I feel about the E string at and above the 12th fret, but who plays there? (me).
Did a full setup with the change of gauge from .105 to .100, dialed in the neck relief, and now kind of wonder just what I got into because these are going to stay on the bass for a long time.

Only about 3 more weeks 'til the end of the month, Your Excellency. I know, it's like a hundred years until then. Hopefully, then we'll have a glorious new interface on our Studios & Stages, with several new models and presets, and any and all glitches totally eradicated!
In reality, we'll probably have a few diffugilties loading the new firmware/app/whateverall it is, either on our phones, or amps, or both, with some confusion over new menus and a couple new patches to play with after the electronic dust settles. Hey, it's a digital computer, after all! So, I don't wanna get my hopes up too high.

Just put DTF 109's on my Ibby. Liking them so far.
Hmm. Inventory: 4 basses(down from 5*),7 combos(B25, R40, R100, MAX110, R200c, KB300, Kasino), 1 cab-R112. And a lotta PA shi...er,...stuff. Oh. Definitely weird/strange.Tried it. Didn't work for me. Now I have 8 basses, one amp, 2 cabs, and 2 combos. And I'm happier.

Thomann has the Hofner Artist line listed on their Website, and it is disappointing. They are still quite expensive. They would be around 1750 USD. A used German bass could be found for cheaper I think.
There might be an older lefty in GB that would have an extra laying around that you could get.
Erm...not to nay-say, but I think I was talking about my Pyramid Gold flats? I only say this because I don't think I've ever played Deep Talking flats. Or did you mean flats in general? In that case, it makes sense!
I'm not (currently) a Rumbler, but I do hope that they come through for my good friends who are. Hope it's one of those times where a thing worth having is worth waiting for.
