It's more like I'm a-pluckin' and you're...well, what are you doing? Pickin'? Also pluckin'? I'm getting hungry for some supper, I know that! More yard work this morning and afternoon, but maybe some bass playing tonight.

Hmm, I guess I'm a-pluckin and a-pickin!

Just had some home-made chicken enchaladas for dinner, so I'm pretty happy about that!

Off to make with some bass noises! Yeller, Silver, and Shorty are getting some prime time in with the D4. Not to fear, Mouse is all secure in the Mouse house, and I expect to have it out and making very un-mouse-like noises by mid-week. Photos to come.

No new combo news for me, but I did buy a bass today on Ebay. Total impulse bid. I've wanted a good PJ for a while and a blue bass like I mentioned when you posted about yours. This oddball is a parts bass with a LPB Squier VM body, a Fender Player Series neck and EMG Geezer pickups. I hope the builder did a good job. Being Ebay I obviously didn't get to play it before buying. It will be receiving the red pearl pickguard I already have on my other P-Bass once I find a way to cleanly drill another hole in it. If it is compares well to my MIM P-bass it will probably replace it.

Kinda want the Ampeg in the picture now too. :)

Edit: I really need to convert my GAS into Home Aquistion Syndrome. Apartment life isn't going to work if I start trying to buy big amps. :roflmao:

With battery? Or did you plug in? If battery, what battery do you use? The one I have is the one Phil Jones originally suggested for the Double Four, but I think it was used or old when I bought it from an Amazon Marketplace seller. Doesn't seem to hold a charge for long.

Congrats! Very nice - seems blue is the "it" color at the moment - looks great with that maple board!

Sounds great...last night was a super BBQ burger with all the fixings. Tonight it's quiche with fruit. I know, real men and all that. But, it is what it is... We need to know what works what doesn't. Guess it's up to us to figure that out;).

With battery, in the car. The same battery Phil suggested, mine lasts forever

You not only offered us good news but a great pic as well. That’s very exciting, Pro, you picking up a new-for-you bass. It might have different parts, but the parts you mentioned, especially the pickups, are worthy. Congrats!
