The Combo Club

It does not, and I do not see myself owning any gear from any brand beginning with an M any time soon if ever.

I’ll bet it begins with “A”....:smug:

Hopefully I’ll be joining the fun soon, but not sure when the 115 is shipping.

@GonePlaid will be happy to hear that when we were on forced hiatus last week, I pulled out my Jazz bass and ran it through the Rumble 40 after a neck shim and a truss tweak. Dang! it sounds great!! So as an offering to the Bass Overlords to help get TB site up again- I pulled the trigger on a set of Fender chrome bridge and pickup covers for it!
Here is the before. Definitely lacks...something :(

That sort of thing has been PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) for quite some time...I'm no longer the fine specimen I once was.
Sadly, probably none of us are the fine specimens we were.
:(

I've not done any flips in many years. Used to do a great back flip, but not since I really thought about what could happen if I land on my head.

Never played in Hatchett. This pic would have been in the Cruise Control days. The band that "ALMOST" made it big...

Guessing Good Rats almost level big, speaking of NY state bands.

back on topic ... thinking of a combo amp light enough and small enough to take with me for a month or so. Which is how I designated that Vox bass amp that works like headphones a combo amp :smug:

The balance beam they gave me to work with is the bouncy kind in physical rehab :help: That's the outside edge of my acrobatics. As to stage acrobatics, once took a spill entering the stage. Cut my hand, bled all over my bass :help: Yes this is the age of the Peavey combo :p

Great to hear, b90! Nice to hear you’re putting your combo through its paces and are finding it so tasty.

Were you running through the PA setup as well or rightbout of the amp? I’m assuming so because you were outdoors, but I thought it was worth asking.

Well, we’re starting to make a come back with the Markbass brand here at the CC, b90. Keep the good news a coming.
Yeah I had my bass going through the PA too (mains and subs), but not through the monitors. I could hear my amp perfectly.

Looks...nekkid!:nailbiting:

It doesn’t begin with an “F” or you would have it by now...Maybe a V...no. My instinct is it will replace that Ampeg BA115 you sold off a month or so ago...:D

My bad, forgot VOX. AFA "Kasino", I have one:EDIT- I had a tuck&roll Kustom 150 bass amp. My Rumble 200c has more watts and less than 1/4 the weight.

NICE!!!! I was soooo close to getting the Rumble 200. Toss up but I went with the new Ampeg...as I have the Rumble 40 (which I love) thought I’d try the new Ampeg.

It's been awhile since I mentioned the story of the Kasino, so...It's a 1970 bought by me in June 1970. I still have the bill of sale. It still works, it's LOUD, and it's HEAVY which is why it's my practice amp 'cos I ain't gruntin' that SOB into the van by myself.
