PA: 1 Bose tower w/bass module & 2 mics for singers & fiddle solos
My lazy [self] woke up praying for rain, so I wouldn't have to load up Mrs. Dog's sewing crafts into the buckboard and coax the mule down the road from our Mayberry home over to Pixley. But the sun came out so pertty that I began to look forward to it!
It couldn't have gone better! Reunited (and it feels so good) with people not seen since over a year ago. Some had jammed at last month's Market & Show, but this was a first for others of us. The large porch fan was offset by the window A/C exhaust blowing on us, so hearing was dicey at best. Yet, lots of fun!
Sam's cook brought it on home to us and treated the band to their lunch menu. Bonus! But very appreciated. I got the mustardy cheeseburger I'd been smelling thru the window A/C all day. Mrs. Dog sold enough stuff to pay the band royally, but declined to do so. She bought her burger. I know, I know, "pix or it didn’t happen"! And I'd be happy to consider it just a fig newton of my imagination. But, my aching, outta shape body keeps reminding me that it did, in fact, happen! Hoo boy!
Nap time!
