I like to mess around like that too, but I don't have a Rumble of RB amp. I think Gone Plaid has done stuff like that with two Rumbles.
Slaphound, let me introduce to you, The Doctor. He's in, BTW.

I can only refer to the backwards message on Judas Priests “Better by You, Better than Me”I've got a thought that I figured this club could easily encourage or discourage. Let me know. Wouldn't it be cool to use a Fender Rumble 100 and link it to a new Ampeg RB112? I mean. Maybe not ideal for most but for at least the option to run the Rumble Pre or the Ampeg pre would give you both tones and you'll have that 2-12 powered by 200 watts for your gig. Could it be done?

Had a Gorilla combo. Don't remember the size or if it had a funk switch. Doubt that it did, because that would have kept me from purchasing it.Hey did anyone else here ever have a Gorilla combo with a funk switch? Mine was my first amp a 50 watt and it stuck around for a while, well at least until I got my hands on a vintage acoustic brand 150 watt combo with a 15 inch speaker. I miss that one!

I had one in '85, had it at Berklee when I was there for a year. Perfectly ok little amp.Hey did anyone else here ever have a Gorilla combo with a funk switch? "Perfectly OK" is probably the best review possible for the amp I had.I had one in '85, had it at Berklee when I was there for a year. Perfectly ok little amp.
Don't be troubled by that, someone has to take care of it.I've been away playing drums and guitar... please don't be mad at me.![]()
"Perfectly OK" is the sound I get out of the head sitting on my combo. I got it to drive my 4x10 so I can play while giving my son bass lessons. The 4x10 ends up being coupled to my combo the rest of the time. That eq on my combo is so awesome!View attachment 4350273
Hi all, been a minute. I hope all here are well in the current world.
I've been away playing drums and guitar... please don't be mad at me.
Posting here because for guitar, I got a combo amp. It's a Boss Katana Mk2, 50 Watt. 1x12 speaker, scalable power at 50w, 25w, and 1/2w. It's a modelling amp with an app component that offers a lot of options, but I mainly use it clean with effect pedals. Inexpensive and functional amp, definitely worth the price, imo.
Just thought I'd share.

Believe it or not that acoustic sounds better! They both cost the same (except I got my Rumble for $350 on a scratch and ding deal) and the Rumble is more powerful but the sound shaping and pre eq direct line out combined with the kickback design (stage monitor) make the acoustic a winner in my book.As I mentioned before, that is one is one imposing rig ya got there, ‘champ! I’m curious, which tone do you like better, the Rumble or the Acoustic? They’re different enough you can enjoy both, but if you had to pick, which would it be????
I was tinkering in this direction: "Who wants to burn their fingers on a demanding niche market when you've already established a name for yourself by satisfying the masses?"This is a job for...a thinker! Ya’ll welcome to try to explain the reason why...thanks.

If you have ten million billion different pedals on offer and 7 of them are specifically bass oriented , this is not your core business. A 120W bass amp as top of the line says as much.Is it Roland asking themselves this? If so, I see them feeling content about filling up the planet with BOSS pedals, but bass amps a niche market?
That's 50 percent more chances of being right than what my wife gives me.maybe you’re right, swink.
